Tesco - Every Little Helps

Our core purpose is to create value for customers to earn their lifetime loyalty. Our success depends on people. The people who shop with us and the people who work with us. If our customers like what we offer, they are more likely to come back and shop with us again. If the Tesco team find what we do rewarding, they are more likely to go that extra mile to help our customers. This is expressed as two key values: * No-one tries harder for customers, and * Treat people as we like to be treated.

Dear Sudhakar... Honestly Subhiksha was the poster child of India's retail revolution. And yes segmenting consumers on price sensitivity and lifestyles along with multiple retail formats holds the key for a retail chain in the Indian context rather...
As the RFID market continues trying to “find its groove,” will the technology join the list of such supply chain efforts as logistics collaboration and rail transport that may be enormously helped by the Green Supply Chain phenomenon? What do you'll...
RFID is accepted by most of the companies because it of its promises and benefits. But the technology still has shortcomings that prevent it from becoming the one-stop supply chain management solution. So what is your take on it..?
RFID is still pricewise the worst option. Barcodes are very cheap to produce, almost every printer can print them and barcode-readers are far cheaper that which (professional) RFID-reader I know. If you need vast quantities of them, I would always...
