This is an ‘untold story’ from Mahabharat, published in a Sanskrit Magazine, many years ago. My father used to read it out to me and translate into my mother tongue. It goes like this: Duryodhan is lying in the battle field, awaiting death, badly bruised by the wounds inflicted by Bhima. He kept his three fingers in a raised position and is unable to speak. All the efforts made by his men to understand the meaning proved to be futile. Seeing his plight Krishna approached him and said “I know what issues occupied your mind. I will address them”. He clarified that the issues are a)      not building a fort around his capital city, b)      not persuading Vidur to participate in the battle c)...

THE CURIOUS CASE OF RAHUL GANDHI Rahul Gandhi: 'I feel ashamed to call myself an INDIAN after seeing what has happened here in UP'. PLEASE DON'T BE ASHAMED OF U.P. YET Please don't be ashamed of Uttar Pradesh yet. Congress ruled the State for the Ma...jority of the duration Pre Independence to Post Independence.. from 1939 to 1989 ( barring the Periods of Emergency.. Thanks to your Grand Mom Indira G. and a couple of transitional Governments) 8 out of the total 14 Prime Ministers of India have been from UP, 6 out of those 8 have been from Congress... I think your party had more than half a century and half a Dozen PM's to build a State... The Reason Mulayam Singh, subsequently came to Power...

Timothy Ray Brown, 45, from San Francisco Bay Area , is in the news – as the first man cured of HIV- AIDS. “I think so,” he calmly tells his interviewers who ask if he actually is cured. Brown has been facing cameras, gun mikes and diagnostic kits ever since the publication of a research paper on his unique case in the journal Blood in December 2010. The researchers led by Kristina Allers and Gero Hutter at Charite University Medicine Berlin documented what can be dubbed as a miracle. The successful reconstitution of a set of white blood cells that the HIV eats up in Brown’s body is a “very rare” occurrence, they noted. Brown, who was tested HIV back in 1995 in Germany , was later diagnosed...
