Dec 2002 -Present Projects HUB - Credit Card - HSBC Pune Description: Migration of credit card staff facing application from OS/2 to Java/J2EE Websphere based front-end. Responsible for migrating three modules - Sales slip processing, Fraud and Suspect cases, Standing data processing. Application was for the Asia Pacific market - customers located in Hong Kong. Size/Duration: 20 FTE for 12 months - 20 Man-years. Role: Project Manager - Worked on the RFP to prepare a proposal and negotiated the terms of reference - clarifying the roles and responsibilities of offshore team and customer team. Created the high-level project plan detailing important milestones such as - development complete, Systems Testing, UAT and Implementation Window. Setup the team structure with three Team Leads reporting to me - conducted weekly meetings to track progress against plan. Frequent communications with the customer to discuss issues/concerns and getting feedback on deliverables. Did some code-reviews initially to setup best practices and guidelines for future use. | ||
