This role is two folded in Cards & Switching CoE of Global Solution Delivery.

Firstly, with inputs of estimates, I prepare a pack containing milestones, budget, allocation of people, project risks and conflicts with other in-flight projects. This will be presented to Portfolio Management and Business for approval.

Secondly, I manage the practice of Release Management. Thus during projects execution, I am accountable for smooth execution of projects through assigned individual project/release managers for each project respectively. I stand as single point of escalation until project implementation and be part of Project Implementation Review. 

Project size varies from small (200 person days) to large (10000 person days)

My work is to interact with business and technology team during the inception of a project. As Demand Manager, my major responsibility is to strike balance between business demands and supply of resources in the technology space by prioritising work in pipeline.

As Delivery Manager, I implemented applications for Consumer Finance Operations which improves productivity and efficiency of the staff, and in turn improves customer satisfaction and experience. Using IBM HATS as platform for secured and change management control tool for screen scraping, I delivered small to medium projects for Issuing, Acquiring and Merchant businesses. These projects provided good returns in cross sales platform, migration of cards, POS terminal management and launching new card products.

I later moved into Consumer Finance where I played an important role as designer in Switching system for ATM and EFTPOS. I worked closely with business and architects and provided high level design for back-office settlement and control and implemented system balancing software ReconNET.

I was into development of Virtual Reality based applications using VC++, COM and VRML. Designed and developed EON Reality software module for VRML specifications.
