As a Business Process Harmonization Lead my responsibilities were: Analyze and document the AS IS processes, systems, application and solution stack Propose, discuss and arrive at finalized TO BE processes with stakeholders from business Define the Target roadmap strategy for the convergent CRM platform Key challenge: DNA, an organization at a nascent stage, was in the defining moments. It was coming up with its strategic and operational plans to further the integration of six regional companies. It is challenging to shoulder the responsibility of defining the future of an organization! Duration From AUG 2008 to SEPT 2008 Lead Siebel Consultant for Saudi Telecom Company (STC) - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Responsibilities STC undertook Tawasool, a critical BSS transformation program across all its business units. It successfully transitioned an entire legacy-based applications stack (ICMS) to an unified CRM and convergent Billing platform (BCCS) in 3 years. I handled various responsibilities as a lead Siebel consultant in following phases: Phase II : STC Fixed-line and Data BU (From APR 08 to JUL 08) For this phase, my responsibilities were: Analyze and document the AS IS state of business processes and applications for STCs products and services offerings to the B2B and B2C segments Analyze the requirements from the RFP and manage the subsequent changes in them through requirement traceability matrix based on business process discussions and workshops Perform the fit-gap analysis for these requirements with respect to Siebel out-of-the-box offerings Prepare and manage the requirements compliance matrix Facilitate the Siebel development, testing and deployment Key challenge: How to model, order and support the products and services of multiple business units on unified CRM platform - The success or failure of this project depends on this lifeline! Phase I : GSM - Mobile BU (From AUG 08 to APR 08) For this phase, I was responsible for delivering the Analysis and Design of MSISDN Numbers and SIM Inventory, Products and Pricing and Order Management modules. The activities included: Analysis and documentation of AS-IS and TO-BE Processes Requirements gathering, analysis, scoping, prototyping, compliance and customer buy-in for proposed processes and solutions Gap analysis and solution mapping with respect to the Siebel out-of-the-box offerings Liaison with Product vendors for SI compliances End-user training (Training content preparation and delivery) Key challenges: Products/Services mapping - The services being offered through the existing legacy system had active customers. It was the largest Siebel Implementation in Europe supporting approx. 26M customers, 4000+ users which eventually grew upto 12000 users. Also, OneView was one of the first Siebel implementations which was upgraded to Siebel 7.8 version. As a OneView Upgrade - CRM Consultant: Attribute Conflict List Analysis - I was responsible for reconciling the conflicting attributes from the application which was being upgraded to the upgraded version. Mapping new features from Siebel 7.8 to existing functionality. Defects analysis, debugging and resolutions. Liaise with Siebel Support web associates for the resolutions. As a OneView Development - CRM Consultant: Configuration and unit testing of Siebel User Interface, Business and Data layer based on the design specifications for Order Management. Impact Analysis of major design changes. As a OneView CIT QA/Test Analyst: Create, update and peer-review the test plans and other deliverables based on the requirements and design documents. Creating test data, execute the test cases on multiple test environments, report and track the defects. Reporting the testing progress to the program management Providing stream/module specific inputs for delivering the test strategy and effort estimations. | ||
