Formalizing a company's ad hoc peer groups can spur collaboration and unlock value. For me, the following topics are key: Companies need to build infrastructures to create and support formal networks. Such well-designed and well-supported formal networks remove bottlenecks and take much of the effort out of networking. To formalize a network, the company must define who will lead it—that is, the network owner—and make that leader responsible for investing in the network to build its collective capabilities, such as knowledge that is valuable for all members. The responsibilities of the formal leader of a network are primarily limited to its activities, such as organizing the infrastructure ...

You are sitting in front of a panel for an Interview... They ask you only one question... You have to make the right impression with the answer. Normal rules of giving an answer apply here as in if the answer is too long the interviewer might get bored, if it's too obvious, you fail to make a dent. And the worst part... there is............ NO RIGHT ANSWER. So here's the question: How will you describe the colour red to a person who is blind from birth....................??? take a minute to think about it... Go ahead...

even a bling person can feel sensations of heat, like day and night, the color red can be explained by the intensity of heat which he can percieve i think.

It would be very difficult to describe color to a blind person because color relies completely on the sense of sight, however as others have stated you could give the illusion of color using the other senses as a guide to show how your own mind...

Major of the recruiters I have come accross I find them technically incompetent and the irony is that these people judge the capabilities of a Technocrat? Expecting feedback?

Yes they are and you cannot expect recruiter to know everything they would go by key words and how long has that canidate worked on that technology. They would not decide on hiring they would shortlist and forward resumes to the client.

AJMER: For Mohammed Jakir, an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh, begging may have begun as a compulsion but through his ingenuity he turned it into a career option. The 42-year-old amputee, who begged in Indian cities for more than two decades, is today known to be a rich man in Bangladesh. Indian intelligence sleuths, who nabbed Jakir after learning about his all-too-frequent visits to Bangladesh, claim that his wealth in that country could be around Rs 75 lakh! Jakir crossed over to India illegally in 1986 at the Benapura Indo-Bangladesh border. Without hands to work with, he realised begging was his only option and he did so for years on streets near Gateway of India, Mumbai . The money ...

Leadership and management skills are something that rarely come naturally for most people. But if you follow some basic rules and are willing to learn how to work with people you will have things running much more smoothly in the workplace in no time. Here's a list of some the things you should NOT be doing. Neglecting workers Your workers ARE your business and they have to be treated that way. Failing to send this message to workers can be a financial and productivity drag for any business. Our workers are people with feelings and emotions and have to be told in many ways how important they are to the company. Not being able to handle criticism Just because you're in a leadership position ...
