The only thing in the world that will make you happy whether your mood is bad is the activities of a child. His smile, his innocence, his behavior, everything he does just makes you smile. One will forget everything for that

Its well written about Mumbai and its nuaces and best part is that the author is not judgemntal about India, his way of putting things in a lucid manner makes it a delightful read.

Budding business owners should go virtual wherever and whenever possible. In a fledgling startup, the last thing you need to worry about is excessive infrastructure or expensive overhead. It’s already a difficult enough task to generate income and garner clients. Why spend that precious revenue on something as useless as an office space? Your ego might try to get the best of you, telling you that your business needs that fancy schmancy corner office with a city view. But unless your ego has a few hundred thousand dollars to cough up for rent and amenities, kindly tell it to shut up. Plain and simple: The vast majority of startups — and more established businesses for that matter — don’t nee...

Google Launches 'Body Browser' On Thursday, Google launched the Google Body Browser, said to be a Google Earth-like experience for the human body. Unfortunately, PCMag.com could not get the new application to work, a problem shared by at least one other commenter on the page. Google published the Body Browser as an in-browser tool. 'Body Browser is a detailed 3D model of the human body,' Google said in an introduction. 'You can peel back anatomical layers, zoom in, and navigate to parts that interest you. Click to identify anatomy, or search for muscles, organs, bones and more.' The Body Browser requires a browser, such as the beta version of Chrome, with WebGL. WebGL, a 3D graphics AP...

1st week of November am supposed to join this institute, where I am supposed to train the students as a trainer(on C programming and Embedded System) and handle the projects as a project coordinator. Handling projects, I can do that. But training the students, I have never done it before(other than small seminars which I conducted in college). So what are the things I should keep in mind when I start training the students. And what are the things as a trainer I am supposed to follow? Your valuable suggestions will help me as well as others.

A LETTER FROM A GIRL TO JRD TATA IN 1974 (Worth a read..) THE GIRL WRITING AS HERSELF.... It was probably the April of 1974. Bangalore was getting warm and gulmohars were blooming at the IISc campus. I was the only girl in my postgraduate department and was staying at the ladies' hostel. Other girls were pursuing research in different departments of Science. I was looking forward to going abroad to complete a doctorate in computer science. I had been offered scholarships from Universities in the US... I had not thought of taking up a job in India. One day, while on the way to my hostel from our lecture-hall complex, I saw an advertisement on the notice board. It was a standard job-req...

This is a very crucial report...I felt literally crying that what are we doing to ourselves.... More than $ 125 billion worth of funds meant for the uplift of Indians were illegally siphoned out of the country by corrupt politicians and corporates between 2000 and 2008, hindering inclusive growth, says a leading think tank here. 'Much of the funds flowing out are generated at home within India and then sent illegally abroad,' said an upcoming report from Global Financial Integrity (GFI). 'So the growth of corruption and India's underground economy contributes significantly to illicit financial flows from the country,' said the research arm of the Centre for International Policy (CIP). 'Co...
