Functional Responsibilities Overall responsibility for increasing sales, sales efficiency and to grow market and market share for South ,Central Gujarat , MP and Chhattisgarh circle for channel sales and organized retail. Planning and implementation of sales promotion strategies/ scheme management for retailers and market development. Appointment and management of distributors to increase the penetration and service level in market. Coordinating with various verticals like Customer Care, Marketing, Product team, central planning and HR team for smooth functioning of the circle. Team building and grooming them for higher responsibility. Monitoring targeted activation / Customer acquisition / revenues from recharging, ARPU, MIS and health of the channel. Target setting for the channel, execution of new initiatives, controlling payouts, Market update and competition mapping. Achievements Successful launch of Virgin Mobile in the states of Gujarat/MP / Chattisgarh. Now GJ and MPCG are the fastest growing regions. July 2006 to Feb. 08 Team size: 140 Turn Over: 180 crore Worked as Head Sales and Marketing with M/s Pidilite Industries Limited (Consumer Product Division) at Mumbai. Consumer product division markets the brand like Fevistic Glue stick, Fabric Colours, Art and craft products, Ranipal (Fabric whitener) and Chikkers (Packed food Snacks). Handled a large sales team RSM, ASM and front line Sales persons. Functional Responsibilities New product launches/ Pricing / Packing/ Promotional material development Brand building and Sales promotional activities for secondary sales. Managing product-wise profitability. Operating different promotional scheme nationally through optimum input to maximize the sales. Identify the Gap in products through market research and filling the gap through appropriate placement of products. Provide national perspective and segment wise direction to the Regional managers and build strong teams through sharing of ideas and encouraging sales innovation. . Monitoring and analysing region wise, Cluster wise, Product group wise progress on weekly basis and advising suitable actionable to improve the performance. Responsible for hiring, developing, appraising and coaching of team. Reviewing the performance of distributors and ensuring the compliance as per guidelines of the company. Assess the market size and share, sales potential and create effective channels of distribution. Coordinating with different verticals like central planning, Supply chain and accounts for smooth functioning. Achievements Restructured the organization by creating focus business group within the division and brought division on growth of 30% from 18% previous year.
