Because they are cheap. And most of people are cheap in general! If we don't have to spend, we will not! And that mindset often leads to buying cheaper products.

Agree with Mr.KLR. However, it is not possible to do the same things that the Chinese do due to labor problems or due to Unionized Labor. Having Super (State) Control on the Union has been a Boon for China and not having it is a Bane for India....

Cost is the only factor. The chinese manufacturers of practically any product are using the low cost to break all market barriers across the world. Obviously quality takes a beating.
