Details of the case On March 30, 2007, Emmet G Sullivan, Judge at the District Court of Columbia, ruled that the US-based Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon), one of the leading communication providers in the world, could legally merge with MCI Inc 4 . (MCI). On one hand SEBi is saying that they want to reduce time taken to approve any IPO, but by increasing the norms are they putting in etrxa burden and thus more time?
