It’s only to earn a basic minimum livelihood that most of the poor families of disadvantaged communities of western Orissa leave their home and land up in the brick kilns operating in Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. But once in the brick kiln, these innocent poor families fall into the grip of sucking tentacles of the kiln owners for whom lives of the workers make no value against the brick.
