The main clientele being the chain of Hotels, Resorts, Clubs, Hospitals, Corporates, MNC offices and Industries. Key responsibilities included: Training, Motivating and mentoring the performances of Area Managers and distributors for sales and marketing in Maharashtra, M P, Gujarat and Rajasthan. - Serving the esteem clientele of the region and building up good personal relations with after sales service. Manager-Business Development (May97-Aug99) Joined the Organisation as the Area Manager-Mumbai (97) and promoted with in a period of 8 months to develop the Western and Northern market of the country. The core responsibility included in setting up of distribution network, product training, sales speech, marketing strategies, inventory management and supervising dispatches. Achievements: Sales Performance: Achieved a growth of 80% which was way above the targets, set for western territory of the nation for the fiscal 2000-2001. Specially promoted to Assistant National Manager, the post which did not exist but was created by the seniors for my recognition. Staff Development and Progression: Provided the training and coaching to sales members that contributed 6 of them to receive promotions to supervisory positions. Supply Management: Acquired recognitions from COLGATE PALMOLIVE-IPD USA on inventory control and supply management during the tenure as Manager -Business Development.
