Hello, In Europe, diesel has a strong appeal but it does not solve the core problem : our huge dependency on oil. In addition to that, diesel production is limited. As a consequence, price of diesel will reach petrol price in the mid term.
I am not the sure the indian context would be different. Leaving Honda brand may be painful for any company.
Happy to see that despite distance and poor knowledge of India, I was not so far from the truth. Regards
