Shift Management and Controlling the Man Power as per the Planning. Receiving the month requirements from customers. Day to Day Co-Ordination with Plant w.r.t. to raw material availability, Production dept and dispatches. To reduce material loss in the shop floor. Preparation of Production reports, Process Charts and down time analysis Assist in carry out the Month End Inventory of WIP, safety audits. To issue proper Instructions and Schedule to shop floor to get the work completed in scheduled time. Preparing and implementing action plans effectively to maximize overall equipment efficiency. Continuously working towards Quality, Productivity improvement through Kaizen, Poka-Yoke and 5S activities. Implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to identify the bottlenecks, reduce setup times by carrying out time and motion studies and streamline the processes eliminating non value added activities in the shop floor. Nature of job: To Design and Develop parts for power tools. To select Vendor for new project. To Prepare of bill of material, PPAP and APQP documentations and necessary quality checks for the critical components. To reduce the cost of the product by value engineering To carry our Assembly and work centre layout planning- Time and Motion studies in the assembly line, reducing the set-up times to improve productivity. 4 months experience @ Autoliv IFB India Pvt. Ltd. as project trainee Project: Productivity Improvement in an Automotive Seat Belt Assembly Line Using Lean Techniques .
