Experienced since 2001 on the subjects of risk and quality management systems in public healthcare sector, Working as a consultant and trainer in various Italian quality & risk management projects with major hospitals and operates nowadays as an independent private researcher. In 2005 a risk management project he’s collaborated with as a risk analyst (Hospital Trust “Carlo Poma” in Mantua) saved €1m on its historical premiums and was acknowledged as a benchmark being awarded with a circular issued by the General Health Counsellorship General Director of Lombardy Regional Administration, Dr. Carlo Lucchina (Circ. DGS Prot. H1.2005.0037648 dated 03/08/2005). In 2006 he’s founded the open R&D project RIHOIR - Risk intelligence for the Healthcare Organization Insurance Rating. In 2007 he has launched a proposal of an FP7 project in the EU, named "HEALBUTNOHARMS".
