.Net is not a week platform it have lot of capabilties and its obviously growing with time.. I will not compare it with any othere coz all tec have there + and - so we need to choose the tec depenging on the need.

As your own views, so I accepted that. But I always asking myself why we pointed out .Net or Microsoft products. Can you ever thought about Java  ? See I did not work in Java so I beleive I donot have rights to comment on that. Java is a river of classes like .net but simple point is this it can work on Unix/Linux which can't do with .Net . I could say unix/linux are not compatible with .Net. or I argued on Unix/Linux dose not support .Net so Unix/Linux has some disadvantage. I beleive Everyone agree with me the " Microsoft OS Support Java and .Net",now  tell me which one is best Unix/Linux who support Java only or Microsoft OS? See Every new release of every Technologies having some weakness which can be resloved in updareded version. For example from .Net 1.0 to .Net 3.5, you can see varity of advance features added and resolved prior issue.In the end Which side you are standing A half Full Glass or Half Empty  Glass?

Lets have a look at its strong features also which are more likely to overshadow its weakness
1)Visual Studio enhances productivity
2)Shortest time to market
3)faster to develop, lower cost
4)Fairly stable (especially compared to beta 2!)
5)High interoperability
6)You code in the language you like, no force.

I beleive u did not go in depth of .Net, i.e the only reason you are putting strong technical words in your message. Have u worked 3.0 and 3.5? DO u ever know about WSS Secutiry standard, if not or if u did not work with 3.5 , then I would say please donot be oppose blindly .Net. Let me ask you one question, how many version comes in Java? you know why? becuase they come to know in after each version release where they are lacking. And same thing come up with Micorosoft. Let's take Java, for unix/linux need diffrerent Java as compare with windows. If I am correct, then you should also accepted this is biggest weakness of Java. But this comes free that makes everyone happy doing business. I never worked java , So I never put my comments about it's limitation. Remember no one is fit in this world still Cobol comes up new version. AND SAP comes with compatbile with new features.

As it is a Microsoft product the bugs are a compliment :) we can really side line this major weakness and try to use its other features which reduces the task of programming.The major concern is the installation of the framework and web services as well as the security issue is also a major concern in web services.I think the Microsoft should make fix these bugs ASAP:)
