I have my reservations...politics is not a company with defined power and authority structure...being intelligent and young can help one individualistically but politics is a collective process...being smart does not mean u r adequately capable to lead i billion+ people...politics essentially means the knowledge of grass root, the width n dreadth of the country...its sheer amazing variety and often contradictory aspirations...the contemporary politics, the basic have changed...it requires deep rooted social and psychological knowledge of the country....Like say L.K Adavani or Jasawant Singh...the sheer kind of intellectual energy and understanding is amazing...no, it has got nothing to do with BJP...as we are not talking about party politics...what really means is that the limitations of power structure and contradictory expectations of the people and regions make it sometimes very difficult to accomplish a goal....ok...young people can show little more dynamism but the background of experience of the country cannot be there...and yes, v r not talking about college elections....

Yes young people of India are able to make new India. But is that they know about India. Yes they know about India and for them India is shining but they dont know anything about Bharat.

If young people are coming forward to take the responsibility then let them do but why not we set certain requirement that can be fulfilled by our young politician. why dont we ask them to serve at rural level as people says to doctors and teachers. First they know what the requirement of our people.

Because of there parents or some approach reaching parliament is not a big task. The big task is what they will do in parliament.

So I appreciate them to come in parliament but at the same time our expectation will increase and we need to see that they are able to fulfill that expectation.

Yes we had enough from old and crooked politicians. To save the country young people should come forward and lead . But they should have highest moral standards and should set up an example in rendering totally selfless service to the public. I am tempted to add that the aspiring and potential young leaders should be trained by a galaxy of leaders like Seshan, K.J.Rao,  Vittal, Anna Hajare, A.K.Antony and Jaya Prakash Narayan ( of Lok Satta, A.P) who are epitomes of honesty and integrity.

I strongly support this view as its now the young peoples' turn to come forward to have a better India. No matter what profession they are in I am 101% sure that they can improve India to a great extent. We need to encourage them to do this great thing but yes one thing needs to be kept in mind they need to make sure that whatever they do in order to have a better India they do it the right way.

Yes It is essentially required that politics should be acquired by youngsters.

Since education level has raised, and youngs are awared about the current requirement of populations, also aware about the technical solutions.

But present requirement is not only the action but also honest and sincere approach to eliminate the problems. Presently we are facing corruption as a major problem in all areas.

We cannot say that young will not be a devil. They may be corrupted if not guided properly, hence we need old and experienced honest people brain to guide us.

All old people are not bad. Like Dr APJ Kalam and Mr A B Vajpayee they had the vision which is really good and can be implemented easily. This vision they draw because they have the experience.

If we really wish to make our country proude, we should follow their vision and implement the mission.

Yes, Young people must come forward

The only obstacle they face is the internal politics in parliament. When we look back our history, take it for Rajiv Gandhi or Rajesh Pilot. They were wonderful people and they had the courage to give India a different shape and on a growth prospect. But these old people who want to keep the power in their hands killed them and mark that as an accident case.

As per the systems, people retire at the age of 60. But in our political structure, people enter after the age of 60.

We need a change.

Yes I am in complete support of this statement. The young ones of India should come ahead and take the lead. If they have the right and guts to abuse the politicos they should even have the courage to take it as their duty.

Since long only old heads  were seen on the politics board. Comparing to the pre freedom days  the experience, age, knowledge ,counts- but now-a-days....?

Yes, Eventhough there is a drastic down fall in 'pure politicians' number, it is good to note that young, knowledgefull, interested, candidates r entering this field.

Let's hope for the best.

politics is a very very vivid and everyday youth in its structure/base etc.it takes shape of the user as any liquid has the shape of its container! politics as a whole dosen't have any defined user / driver such as old/new.politics should be driven by intelligence and not by age.any one just because he/she is young can't change the system.please think that it is sufficient if service rendered to society is cause based and not case based.finally it is the honourable electorate to decide thier own fate by casting votes compulsorily.

Rajiv Gandhi died in accident?

Did he?

Anyways I wish young people should come into politics.

But good and bad have nothing to do with age.

If you say, tech savy and energatic generation should take charge--I support.

But if we think young will bring shower of good with them, then I think we need to give another thought.

Young always do not mean good.

Young devils are there too.

Anyways I remember Rajib Gandhi, I remember Bofors, I also remember long befor during independence we marked an end to dynasty and kingdom and tried to stop calling people king and queen and their children as prince and princess.

Being a tech savy doesnt mean the young people will raise the standard of parliament....They are people who are intelligent only in thier field and have no idea about whats happening around..

Well my friend works in a bank, there he encountered a customer who is a software developer, who have come up to withdraw some amount....he asks the cashier he needs money not knowing he requires a cheque to withdraw some amount...That software developer had no clue about the cheque either when asked about it.

The idea behind this is tho show that not all young people intelligent in their field and tech savy are intelligent enough for politics....Its the mixture of young and old(experienced) that the nation requires.
