360 degree feedback, if taken in objective sense, a perfect tool for performance appraisal and self-development. Its nothing but a SWOT analysis of an employee. However, this tool is grossly misused by the vested interests within the set-up for ulterior motives! Every good initiative dies over there!

360 degree has high involvement of raters and so increases the chance of rater's error. Though it is a tool which mitigates the error and is highly preferred now a days as a tool for performance appraisal but it can also create severe confusion and taking decision may become difficult, if not implemented carefully.

I agree with  Dipika Das. Though,  all pervading  feedback appears to be a  fool proof  method, it is bound to have its repurcussions  in many a case.  That is the other side of the coin.

Hi Shalini, This story is very touching and certainly adds pride to the emotion called LOVE. It reminded me of the novel 'The Notebook' by Nicholas Sparks in the year 1996. Thank you so much for sharing it! Cheers!
