1. Technologies are changing fast. In this context selling out of entire wireless spectrum to private industry will have adverse ramifications in future.

2. 3G and futuristic multi-media products will have to be managed with high data bearers in the backbone and WiFi / WiMax and other advanced wireless technology in the last mile end links.

3. Future of telecom is in convergence of Wired and Wireless networks using common switching systems and networks.

Please read my posting about poor business viability of 3G for multimedia telecom exclusively and comments about impropriety of 3G auction  in toostep.com a year back or so. 
I said these 10 years back and very few happen to appreciate my views.   
I still maintain that Telecom Manufacturers, Network Operators and Service Provider companies should concentrate on convergence of Wired & Wireless networks and plan futuristic multimedia products and services on common switching platforms and networks built on OFC backbone with WiFi / WiMax wireless last mile  / end links.

selling spectrum and give companies opportunity to have competition, great technology, great value , great implementation need Marketing . Let this technology reach everyone ........
