yes most of the graduates are unemployable because of the lack of practical knowledge in the curriculum of most of the universities...

I agreed that most of the people are unemployed even after having Good Degree's with them,I have seen that most of the companies now a days required experience .Every year whole lot of student complete there degrees' and when they try applying for the jobs and would not be Entertained as they don't have experience for the same.here i can say companies should entertain freshers which i found very less ( Not happens with all Companies).

You are 100% right Mr.Shishir.I can able to see lot of PG's,Ph.D's fellows still searching for a job. Here I will blame only the students because once they completed the course, they will think the salary range not to get an experience in an relevant field. They want to fly high range without wings, how is it possible?.Next thing is, now there is a enormous colleges they opened all over India without proper facilities. The management need only capitation fees not students education growth. The main thing is there is no proper guidance for the students.Instead of increasing colleges, simultaneously increase the Industries, Pharma sectors, hospitals, etc., to avoid unemployment. If it continues like this ,then noone can stop UNEMPLOYMENT.

Not only graduates but post graduates and Phd are also unemployed.Reasons are many of this unemployment such as: - 1. Enormous amount of institutes who only provide degree rather than quality. 2. Due to this students also become dull and just study for their degree only but when they pass out then scenario is changed. 3.Ego that i mean to say as in example:- that one engg doesn't want to do a job of salesmanship or driver we think this profession as a low grade one. Remedies: - 1. try try try but then also if you wont succeeded then join and start from whatever you are getting.

I am surprised with such a high percentage (75%). I agree that majority of graduates are uneployable but the reasons are many. Primarily, the current education system doesn't give enough exposure to the industry / market realities. After completing the graduation, the freshers start from the scratch to understand the industry and start all over again. The system should increase the market exposure levels by constant interaction between Academic & Business Worlds more so in the rural areas.

fault of educations system or the students... ne one can't be blamed...!!! although reading to everydays newspaper i do find some clues about how bad our education system is...what how do you feel when the most powerful person of the world say that thr country's education system should b of the level of those in bejieng and bengalore.?? the fault is not only of the education system...and i dont even blame students...!! considering tht every 5th in NASA scientist is an indian...and today top positions and top f500 companies are held by indians....i very well can understand the efforts of our education system in bringing the brightnes in indian stars...!! this is just 1 of the many examples how indian students are performing worldwide..!! the problem is with the governance..!!! now conside this... - when there will be quota in private jobs as well....this number will automatically increase from 75% to 80%..!! other reason is the population...4 to 6 lakh students apply for AIEEE exams every year...and tht mean every year on an average 5 lakh students graduate in indian universities......and thats a reason why majority of us are still unemployed...!!
