MNC always use the contractual based job filling system, by this they gives the time period to employe how a employee perform there task if it good then contract can extend again for short time or may life time..by this employee tried to giving there best,and improved there skill day by day, and with this, a firm also incresed there production level, quility,and ealy achive the goal.

A contractual job is just a system used by the companies to retain the employees for certain period. But the employees are pressurized and many leave the company. Even without contract an employee can improve his skill. When a company has a good working environment and decent compensation, employees will stick to the company......

MNC's use it as it suits them. They can leave the country when it suits them with no obligations after exploiting its people. Read more about on Foxconn. You will understand it.

Contractual jobs benefit employers. No doubt about that. However, employees are totally at loss. As they grow older the system will not support them and this method is one of the worst kind of exploitation.

Rightly pointed by Sarika, Contract Job can never give the ownership to the individual. Involvment of contract employee will be partial and not 100%. Thought i have observed many contract employee are involved in clerical job more. there will be less\no decision power for him. And I dont feel its healthier for any growing organization to sustain with contractual employment

contractual job can never provide same motivation and loyality as a full time job, so employee development will always have a question mark. for organization if the nature of work is temporary/ short term keeping contract employee is useful else for long term / permamnet jobs, employee must be a permanent employee

No as a practice any management are not willing to invest on contract labours. The contract labours do not get any training to other facilities.

We may call the extended internship that helps improving the workers' skills, but not the contractual job. For instance, a contract for a particular position is for two years, the person takes about six months to settle down, next one year try to earn his livelihood, allowing himself / herself to get exploited by the employers for want of more money, and the last six months preparing for exit. The last six months of his contractual employment is more significant when his mood level swings and oscillates to an extent that he is always on "cat on the wall" situation! He may end up becoming aggressive in behaviour, negative in approach, and dis-loyal and adopts anything and everything without comprehension. He is back in the job chase and thrown in the oblivion!
