In today's world the person sitting on the recruiter's chair seems to be self made god, wherein he is the decider of the fate of our young, fresh, dynamic, innovative and energetic candidates in the interview. Should it is mandatory that he is the one who knows everything?

Is it essential that whatever and whomever selects is actually worthy of the position?

Is it necessary that one who cannot express himself is unable to deliver?

When they have the curriculum vitae or resume before them why is it necessary to ask about the person where he is able to read and draw a bare imagery of the person?

Why they put some vague irritating and unnecessary questions like "Why should I hire you?" when they too know that they are hired to hire people and they need the candidate?

Why they waste the precious time of anybody or is it like this that their time is valuable and the candidate who is jobless is unworthy or his time has not got a value equal to a penny?

Now which side would you like to take after these serious questions?

Dear Ardhendu, you need a job right ? why do you try to impose your thoughts on them. Be cool and get the job. Your objective is to get the job. Not to give advice to them. DO NOT advise a prospective employer. What is your goal? Dont leave the goal like Arjuna in Mahabharat ! Take it or leave it !!

I beg to differ with you. Recruiter has his own choice. When you go to the market, you buy what you like. Supposing another shopkeeper complains that you are not buying from his shop and demands a panel? Dont go for meaningless arguments. Post something new, innovative and interesting.

You are right Ardhendu, Munshi is neither a munshi nor a muni. Just a fake identity with lot of venegence in him. He can divide south and east, north and west, bihar and bengal, and kashmir and kanyakumari. Let them not speak about Pakistan, they are here un der the disguise of munis and munshis. Good Work Ardhendu.. I support you, I joined RSS at the age of 10 years. I am a true Indian.. unlike these people.

Dear Mr. Suryanarayan Murthy Sir,

Great inspiration, I am totally agreeing with you, may be because of the anger and frustration I have forgot the greatest guide book "Srimad Bhagwat Gita".

Yes you are absolutely right but you know I like it very straight so I am bound for a rethinking upon my strategies and plannings, may be I need to go to exile and learn that book once more which could help in further pursuance for  both professionally  and personally along with my concept of India.

Mr. Suryanarayan Murthy Sir,

Is there a similarity between a non living non emotional commodity and a living emotional man?

Accepted that you are selling yourself as a commodity whereas you get hurt by irresponsible questions being put up at the interview. What happened today, is, my job offer was almost finalized but they insisted on the up-selling part more, I tried hard to convince them but in vain they are just having deaf ears to the logical facts put by me and started to harass me psychologically so that I might loose my temper and blast on them, however I am a very calm person too so they failed but I gave them a suggestion not to waste the time of candidates by misleading requirements, earlier they wanted technical staff now when they are in jeopardy they are concentrating on selling part and creating nuisance.

There should be framework outlined for recruiter. When there is advertisement for the post,Nobody advertise irrelevant criteria even though one can for one pays for it.Then ,why a recruiter should be allowed to ask any thing ?

Yes there must be a panel who must take the feedback from candidate because the candidate is also a human firstly and he is having the brain and intelligence for making decisions.

See, recruitment is a buy-sell process. You the candidate is the seller of your skills and the buyer is the recruiter. So, obviously the buyer can ask any question and the seller may or may not answer. For example: a car dealer....buyers ask so many stupid questions and a good dealer will be patient to answer all those and close the deal. Can dealers get together and say that only certain people should have the right to buy a car......that is a "right wing/left wing attitude". A free market economy cannot promote something like recruitment with too many conditions.
