IPAD does't need a killer (its dead), yes already Apple executives are breaking their heads to decide on POSITIONING of IPAD. It cannot replace a netbook, notebook nor a phone. CAN ANY ONE OF TELL ME 10 things that we can do with IPAD and cannot do them with the iphone. One thing i can think of is Book reading (again do you need $600+ devise for reading books. Kindle is much lighter in weight, price and ease of use)

As an Indian we must be proud of such innovation which is going to impact the markeet share of iPad.No doubt teeting problems will always be there in launch of any new product and get its share in the market. The Adam may bring the change in the market in the cost of the iPad also. Even before the commercial launch of the product the iPad may come down in price with added features. Let us wish the young team of professionals pioneer in much more innovations and an early commercial launch of Adam. I wish the commercial launch should be in India first than US

The ipad cost $500 in the market which is not easy to afford for a common man. On the other hand Adam, being $100, is much cheaper which will easily be affordable by public. I think because of this, Adam has got better opportunities than ipan to be popular in the market.

Adam has all the good reasons to iPad to think twice about exploiting the market by high price range. The technology, the concept and usage of battery life seems to be the leading factor for gaining the edge over iPad. It needs to be marketed well with right positioniing in the market to attract the right customers. Rest everything will come in place automatically.

If I have to evaluate iPad against Adam and make a purchase decision, it may well go in favour of Adam. My decision will be based on superior specs and features Adam has, favourable pricing and a dash of nationalism. No doubt, Adam has already captured the fancy of geeks world over; which may ensure Adam is going to be a success. But one cannot underestimate Apple's brand pull and its cult following, the options and channels available via iTunes store and the aggressive pricing Apple has chosen for iPad, will make iPad a bigger success compared to Adam in their maiden iterations.
