Advertising in social networking sites do not guarantee a purchase, but surely it brings in awareness on the existence of the product/ service. Moreover, they are a passing cloud, when once you close the site, it erases from your mind and never returns till you open it the next time. The number of times you see the same adv. depends on the number of times you log into a social networking site...But again, it does not guarantee you a certain purchase.
