As you have restricted yourself but there are many other good options also avaliable,anyways my suggestion for you will be go for PHD as there are less doctrait avaliable in India.

Going for PhD is the best option I have many friends who have opted for PhD...they get good stipend and also future is great for them....

in india no development in the biotechnology dept and if u ll to do the ph.d its difficult to get in reputed institute other institutes are simply they tookup work is going on
