In my opinion the more appropriate example that could be seen is of internet. It is considered as the fastest growing industry in terms of advertising. The investment in it is bare minimum. And the revenue genreated is much higher.

Alternate media is actually having a boom at present. An example could be taken is of mobile. Nowadays I think reach of mobile phones is higher than the traditional media. They are more accessible.

People rely more on the traditional approach of advertising. It has got higher reach. Exposure to audience is more through this approach.
