Textile fibre present consumption is 74 Mn tonnes. With growth of more than 3%, there will be a need of 2.5 Mn tonnes of fibres every year. Which fibre will meet this incremental demand of fibre. With limitations on availability of cotton, only Polyester is an alternative to meet future needs and thus is going to grow faster.....

I think today these kind of polyesters may meet the demand. Because people started realizing the importance of recycling and the carbon foot prints.
