Yes of course. If we look at the figures it will prove. Started its commercial journey in May 1998 only it has crossed a sale volume of 1100 crore in 2008, while 800 crore was the sale in 2007. Quality product, wide variety & company policy makes it special in organized retail market.  Policy of giving the opportunity to earn money as Amway Business Owner is simply unique. More than 500000 ABOs' are earning money which has got no upper limit. I think the module of business (traditional - Stockist, whole seller, retailer etc.) will change as soon as we will understand that we can earn money by using products. And I believe Amway is going great towards this revolution.

Actually I have given answers to the questions raised by fellow members by pressing the oppose link because I felt it was against my opinion and I didn't thumb down. If anybody felt offended I am sorry. I am not here to promote Amway.

Have u ever wondered how much ur retailer gains?, his distributor, whole seller, c& f, and from whose pocket the company spends on advertisements and from where their large no of employees get paid?? All these have been removed in a direct selling company and commissions paid to individual business owners.

Nobody does charity while marketing a product. Amway distributors earn commissions similarly like a Retail shop owner and Sales Reps, Area Managers and their GMs.

I also agree with this point. Amway has almost all varieties of cosmetics one needs in daily life. In chain marketing, Amay's name come first and it is popular than any other retail product....

Normally, we press the "Thumbs Down" sign, when the comment is in bad taste. Not when we oppose. We post our views, when we oppose. Correct me if I am wrong..

Mr. Vijayasaravanan, Everybody will have his/her own perception, we must respect those views and opinions of others. Differences of opinion will tend to have between two. On a positive note, this provides a new dimension to a problem and an alternative solution to such problem. So, there is nothing wrong in having a different view point. Let us all behave in a professional manner and together build a community of professionals. My response might have sounded harsh, but having seen that every opinion on this side was given a thumb down, I responded that way. Amway Products lacks the QOS or the Quality of standards...... I am very much against the use of Amway products and I personally don't endorse these stuffs of any kind. I rather trust the brands which have proved it's worth from ages and are used in widespread manner. Amway sucks.

I dont think so. There are number of allegations against this organisation and many of this kind of MLM chains. They are into legal tangles in each state. How good the product is a question for the ultimate consumer. It is profitable for the members of the chain. They are gaining largely, so they promote. But, for the customer it has no value at all.

 Amway'sales are always unpredictable. for all most three years, their turnover came down and did not go up at all. Products are not worth the price they charge, price includes, commission for the middle men, which ultimately, end user has to pay all. Middle men make money. I used Amway products, which is not that great, even other brands are available at reasonable cost with same quality.

Yes, Amway is doing well in Indian market but still many people are loyal towards other products not Amway. Also, their product is a bit costly which will make Amway difficult to penetrate in Indian market....

I agree with you. I believe that the more international company enter into India, the more we will be able to develop ourselves.  I mean to say our economical and social standard will develop, if we get the taste of foreign products.
