ANOTHER MAOIST ATTACK ON CIVILIANS. IS INDIAN GOVT TOO SOFT WITH THEM??

I couldn't believe another news of attack by Maoist today. Maoists blew up a bus killing at least 50 people, including 20 Special Police Officers, in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh within two months after they massaccered more than 70 CRPF personnel. State and Central Govt are condemened as usual. Is it high time to take a strong action against them ?

Please share your thoughts,  Is indian govt: whether it is state or central is so soft on dealing with these Maoists???

Really I dont want discuss this topic in Toostep since there is already so many dicussions were there on this topic. But after reading the latest news I would like to see the thoghts of all friends that on this. I feel the UPA Govt is not doing any thing substantially other than verbal, not only in this topic but in over all their performance is very far from than the Hooplah when they took over the second term.

I feel it is high time to bring president's rule in this region to bring the things under control.

No, Government is not taking the serious and strict step to crush them. The politicians only use to give a statement and thats all.

Govt is playing safe and  only taking breaking news slot on news channel, verbally stating they are against the attack of maoist is ll they are doing no govt machinery is moving to counter these cannibasl and scavengers, terrorist of India

Govt as always is only looking at vote bank , if they do not gain they will not move at all.

Govt is not doing a lots, if their is question that naxsals are also Indian and we cannot directly shoot them then the person killed by them is what? is govt try to say that they deserve to be killed by the naxals because the force is paid by the govt.

Yes you are right, Manoj.

There is lack of political wish to control the situation. Our Home Minister gave

his action plan in front of Media which shows their attitude towards these

attacks.

If a free hand is given to our army/RAF/BSF then they will easily tackle the

situation very well.

Goverment wants show that they are in action, but there is no will to eleminate those people.Because they want to take the political milage of it.That's why itrs happeningagain and again.If free hand is given to CRPF or ARMY they will controll the situation.

But for political benifit if some soldiers die they/politicians are least concerned.

I also wanted to discuss this issue. Mr Manoj,UPA or NDA both play safe for reasons of  vote bank politics. It is a fact that special police force is not fully trained to deal with this menace.The real problem is that urbanisation has shrunk the means of livelihood of people who rely on the produce of jungle.The aggrieved people could easily be lured to take up arms. That is what is happening since a decade or more.To deal with this problem ,government should announce a plan for rehabilitaion,allow them to use jungle produce till such time they learn new vocation.The surplus area should be marked and they should be made land owners.Such a policy is required to upstage disgruntled people.

everybody should understand that we are not fighting on border, wheerre we can kill everybody, most of us dont know ground reality, there are common people in those villages they dont put tag on their neck saying am moist, so its relly hard to find out who is moist and who is common man.govt is doing great job, why they are doing such dangerous attacs becouse this govt is a big challange for them and they are showing their frastration like this

I partially agree on the Maoist attack  issue...BUt i totally disagree on the UPA performance ovr the last 7 yrs. If they are not performing well then why they were re elected after first term.

Well I con't say the Government is inactive. Ours is a democratic country where Government have to protect the civilian rights first. It is not a war with another country. The matter to be handled tactfully and  might take more time to curb the route of the cause.
