In a shocking incident, top Australian police officers have been caught in a racist e-mail scandal joking about the electrocution of an Indian train passenger and suggesting that it could be "a way to fix the Indian student problem" in Melbourne.

The police officers of the Australian state of Victoria circulated sickening video footage showing the death of the man, who was travelling on the roof of a crowded train in India, 'The Herald Sun' reported on Saturday. And people involved in this incident are being taken to task by the Australian government...

But here, I don't think they did something that we do not already do in India. We are a racist community ourself. At least, over there, people are held responsible and are punished. In India, not only some politicians abuse other Indians, based on religion and geography, they are even honored & protected for that. While the politicians think that it is their birth right to abuse another Indian, by beating up and abusing the others. For the most part, I think we are biased!!

What do you think people, Are we ourselves biased here?? and then on top of it we are complaining about Racisim in some other country??

Yes, we are a biased here, We need not be critical of Australian police who circulated a video. The Australian government will take care of the officers.I also get upset for discrimination. India is not the most biased and a discriminating country. Then why are these caste census and caste reservations? Also there is an imoprtant lesson from the video. Why should Indian railways allow passengers on the roof of the train? Why people get electrocuted so often in India?

Why cry foul when it is a reality? Which leader has taken the responsibility? Can we be introspective and correct some of these dangerous inefficiencies?

Hello Kavitha, I will not agree with you. If it is happening here we should condemn and the same applicable to other countries also. Regarding Australian Police officers, Our Government should take necessary step with the concerned department and to sort the issue.

yes we are also responsible for this because most people criticize others for descrimination but they themselves never accept the same thing..........

if people in our country are doing same thing on the base of religion and cast then its obvious that people from other country will do that also....

If there is no unity in a family people outside will make fun definitely
