working r appointing friends in an company ....... if u r in a higher position & managing ur project at the same time ur team members r thick friends... u have to finish the project in the mean time but ur members r not working in a manner what ll u do??????????????

There are friends and there are friends: one must disntinguish between those who are friends and are high quality professionals you can count on, and those who are good friends at the emotional level. I have worked as freelance on a number of projects, and have counted on 2 good friends to work with me, because we made a hard-hitting team, with no question about confidence and knowing full well the limits that apply. this enabled us to "hit-the-ground-running" on the projects we were involved in.

Working with them as partners can be good but appointing them can be bad. You will never know how to react to certain situations and would not be able to say that you are the boss and you want the work done..

It is the matter of feeling and understanding each other. Friendship is a great relationship in which no terms & condition applied....... however sometimes confusion comes and play their role, but it all happens with everyone..... we just understand each other and give attention as well as regards.

We should not mix our professional life with our personal life....It really doesnt matter to refer or to appoint a friend in the same company. sometimes you need to manipulate things in life.

It has always been told that we should work in friendly environment to enhance productivity, if a friend is working with you or under you than he will try his level best to never let u down and offcourse by forming a group of good people you can inculcate your dictation.Its absolutely the matter of choice and the your way of working..

It doesn't matter whom you appoint as long as the right candidate is chosen. Then again in work places like technology firms the relationships are very cordial. There is another side to appointing friends, like, Evolutionary psychology defines friendship as cluster of people who forgives individual mistakes and collective mistakes of the group. If this happens then there can be problems which may be affective in the long run probably.

absolutely wrong coz I am the exprienced one about the friend to be partner so i suggest not to do any sorts of business with friend, friendship may be in danger.

When you are on work or on project, you have to be professional, stick to your time bound, do the thing as it is plan, put your hall heart efforts, consider your colleague as your work partner, make healthy compitative enviorment, train them, guide them and help them to fullfil their task. But dont be friendly untill you complete your job hours. In friendly atmosphere person may take thing to be granted or may be mislead by you and these may have negative effect of your boths career.

Nothing going to happen for project but misunderstanding takes place when your are thick friends,so refer thin friends for your company in different projects located in different places.

Appointing a friend in company / project develop mafia(gang) for oneself. This can be perceived & used in different ways in Industrial working environment.

However, the choice is much based on preference of the Individual. Say, for example working in a Hostile Environment (where the project is to be completed at any cost but, you need to work for) or a Work like Diving in deep-sea water where your life is much depend on the rescuer on the surface. On such occasion, the choice of friend promotes the well-being of the individual as well as the Business.

Friendship means lot of emotions, while appointing someone is more of professionalism. Emotions may actually override professionalism, in case of friends. So it is always best to keep them separate!

This will completely kill professionalism and there will be a complete jeopardy as there will be more time killing rather than productive work. Moreover this will give rise to the office politics and inferiority complex plus this will be a threat to the company policy of encapsulation.

Work place has no place or space for friends or near one's. Even if we work with close friends, we should follow the professionalism at work. We can refer friends but at work premises when it comes to work, everyone should follow the ethics of work place, we can also have fun with friends at work place as long as we dont work.
