I buy it because of the new technology and my friends buy it. I use only few features in that and many software I am not even aware it. Its just because of the look and feel people buy the mobile phones.........

In todays environment, communication is very important and i think mobiles phones is best alternative for this scenario because its provide fastest communication, so i think if mobil phones are technically sound and loaded with advance features then its good and it will be helpful.So i will purchase advance features mobile.

If someone does not use all the features of mobile, problem lies with him and has nothing to do with mobile itself. We must promote use of Technology.

I totally agree with this because Necessity is the mother of invention. But not 100% people buy mobile phone due to technology just 25% people use due to technology & requirement rest of us only for the sake of trend.

Yes I agree.Nearly 90% of the people just buy feature filled mobiles just because someone else own it.Where do we find time to go through and use all the features available?

Most of the people buy the mobile not because of its new technology but its because of their friends use dat mob.And they want to comapre with their friends.

I think for most of the people sanjana's view is correct, but for some people like me buy mobile & using maximum fatures inbuilt.

Now a days the cell phones are not just  calling devices but also gaming and multimedia devices. Now cell phones come with varities of new technologies and features. But its true that we dont use them all. generally the youngsters and professionals are found to buy such high featured mobiles because the old aged persons do not understand all the features. As a technolgy freak i like high featured cell phones and i have changed so many phones ut after few days all such features become cliche.

Recently I bought Nokia's business series phone and to tell you the truth I use it to read mails, send & receive SMSes and of course talk to my contacts. the user manual and updates from Nokia says the phone is a mini computer and you can do a lot with it but till date i haven't explored any of the features. Probably if the situation demands I will do it otherwise i usually don't check out all features in my phone.

I feel that its only when the phone is new we explorer its features otherwise after 10 days, we use it for only making calls and sending recieved SMSes.

i have also buy rich mobile because it is having new technologies, in india 3g services is not present in  all places but in Japan and China are implementing 4g. so we should look forward, there is no harm to adopt new technologies. if you adopt new things then you will get benefits.

we buy just because it is having a new technology that will make our lives to go easy to some extent but we do harm to global economy in other way as plastics are derrivative of petroleum and we are already running out of it as it is limited and population is now rating in billion so ultimately we are the cause of petrol hike on one way

Cellphones are boon for communication. But mere communication through call or sms is no longer sole objective. This pocket device has replaced almost all the devices of media entertaintment. Feature rich phones are bought by broadly two categories. One who are interested in sharing and enjoying latest entertaintment and they have ample time too. The other category is a small segment of business users and rest all lifestyle status follower/ maker.

All the features are seldom used. Also in India there is technology hurdles and cost effectiveness is another factor. Since pirated media are available at throw away prices, a lot many see no justification in a dead investment.

Therefore I shall conclude that those who use feature rich phones are either lifestyle status follower or beacuse their friend's have it.

its because of the need to have it rather than the need to use all its features.....for exp take the iphone....i have used all the versions of it for the sake of saying that i have it....ofcourse im a gadget geek....lollllll
