Such bikes in India are owned by only those who want to show off and nothing else. They can't enjoy the fun attached with these bikes. Indian roads are not meant for these bikes. Also the rules does not allow them to go beyond a certain limit.

Merc or BMW are made for Indians ? Rolls ? But, some indians are using them better than else where.

Good will be displayed in the show rooms or malls. If you want you buy it or be a window shopper. It's customer choice, merchant's opportunity.

These will cater to a niche segment only. The bikes market can be subdivide in to --- mass segment, power / executive segment  & super bikes. THe super bikes wil have very limited numbers & also the market will remain stagnant for times to come

Ofcourse, accordingly the Indian Economy is not same as before, GDP is consistently growing, people are onto their likings. as said, each segment will have thier own customers. even in other countries these bikes are superficial and are used as show-off piece. So there is nothing harm in introducing different segments of bikes into Indian Market to meet the customer demand

With highways like western express highways and other such projects coming up soon, such bikes have a future in India too. Let the people enjoy the speed.

I don't think so. By seeing their price, I can definitely say, it cannot be afforded by Indian middle class customers. Also, these bikes won't be able to sustain Indian extreme conditions...

sir,

Only guys who love show off we gonna have those bikes. these super bikes are not at all ment for indian roads. They are not going to bring any changes in indian two wheeler market. most of the indians are middle calssed. The companies should think more on value for money and the fuel economy.

I think bikes like R1,Hayabusa are made for racing & High speed purpose........India doesnt provide that kind of infrastructure. They are only good eye turners for beautiful women in India.
