The practice of using new media and social media to build brands is catching up and there’s a lot of work being done in this area. Web2.0 gives the consumers a voice and the companies obviously want to interact with these consumers and leverage this interaction to create a positive brand image. On the whole, while the concept is still nascent in India, there are some brands which are prioritizing this as a way of brand building.
