China products are made for lower price selling, focusing on middle and lower level consumers, so the quality will reduce a bit, but it doesn't mean they are scrap. Due to cheaper labor, materials availability, mass production and technology the product costs cheap, but it doesn't mean the consumer need to compromise completely on quality. due to china products only, its become possible for a common man to enjoy and use the technology. cheaper is not necessarily a lower quality products, lets take APPLE I phone(not only an APPLE, so many brand names products are exist in market which uses chines components/spares), which uses components or assemblies made from a contract manufacturers, who has used china manufactured components in it. the components are the same like other makers, but its up to one, for what reason/markets/consumers they building the products.

Quality is an ambigious word. It means at least 7 different things in relation to products and services. Some people need to buy the cheapest and often less advanced products and services. Most companies believe price is the main factor in a sale, but how can any companies in Scandinavia or Japan survive with the prices they have to charge because of the costs of labour in Scandinavia or Japan? So many manufacturers have moved production to low salary countries and discovered that the skills and culture of their new workforce is considerable different from their home land. Not because the quality is bad but because the difference in culture and skills of the employees and managers are very expensive to keep the quality as it was in the home land.

Not all Chinese products are bad & of low quality. The cost is less because of the low labour cost in china. Many famous brands use the same Chinese markets for their parts but Brand it differently. Its just that the costlier the product the better quality you get.

yes the chinese products are really not good, they are of low quality. But this is not true for all of them. even many chinese firms are manufacturing goods for many top branded companies like ibm,hp etc.

When you say Chineese products, chineese brands only. And they are useless and harmfull. If it is international brand manufactured in China, then they have a different standards. Now the question is whether chineese branded products can compete with international brands by having the same quality and still lower price.

Chinese product vary from being cheap and harmful to top class depending on the products we use. Chinese toys, synthetic milk products, low range electronics are very unfriendly to the buyers. However, for higher range products like mobiles, high end electronic goods are quite competent. Even, top brand are going for manufacturers in China, due to cheap labor force. Hence, it depends on the type of products we are looking at.
