Abhjit good debate.....

I don't think customer care services are making a mockery of customers, they have understood the importance of customer services. Today customers are the trump card for a companies success and for that they need to have good customer service. So every company has realized it and has a good relationship with customers........

Thanks....

Yes the customer care services making a mockery of customers as though the service is available to sort out the queries of the customer but the customer care are not trained adequately to provide a better service. They are short of knowledge required for their service. One must not blame only to the customer care but to the service provide who is not supporting them by giving the right training and knowledge about the product. Apart from that, the company has come up with an idea to increase customer base with the help of the given service but the answers provided by them doesn't actually fill the requirement of customers.Right way is to give right training to the right person equipping them with right tools and right information to make the task success.

Hi Abhijit,

I too believe that current customer care services are not customer friendly enough to warrant customer interest. Most of the customer care services lack the basic understanding of customer problems and how to handle them.So until proper training is given on customer handling and grievance management these customer care services are merely a superficial services aimed to displease customers.

just because some of us happen to be on the otherside ...professionally...does not mean peeping inside is bad. customers are taken for a ride a lot no. of times by big companies.......big claims about products and endorsements but customer complaint attendance is pathetic...below average!! customer executives dont care about us. they r there just to give us a complaint no...rest all is with god.

Hi.,

Customer care comes from revering your customers, customers run your business, today businesses are making customers run around due to very low understanding of " what and how to get customer service from companies". , ignorance, 'let it go" attitude, low dignity of labour, will complete the work tomorrow, etc.the reasons are many. Hence customer service in INDIA is not what customer service is in say europe.

What i feels is that customer care services are playing major role in solving and closing the problems of customers and they are directly meeting the customer/understanding the needs of customer. Earlier we don't have these kind of support and even no one use to care about customers. After getting the importance of customer care in the market , an illiterate also contacting to customer care and making things better..

Prompt Customer care is eesential for any company's good business.
The companies compete each other with n number of special services to customers and made them to feel to be the god.
This in later years made overdemanding mentality in customers.
By purchasing a product, most of them feel that they have bought the entire company and can take their customer care personnals for any extent ride.
This mentality has to be changed or corrected.

As a customer if one is vigilant & aware of his/her rights, companies do have to respond....

The thing is only how much one care for one's issues..

(I just got my bike re-serviced; not taken proper care by local dealer & I had to complaint to their customer care,,,also in several similar incidents I got things done)

Thanks shailena for referring.
