We have to have a re-look on every aspect of our constitution, given the number of loopholes spotted, mis-interpretations creating precedence, and the nature in which the globalisation has taken place, better to recast the constitution taking in insights from the experiences over 60 years and the number of amendments the original constitution had to go through in all these years.

Most of Indian Laws were enacted (copied from UK) 60 Yrs back (at the time of Indpendence) when India population was much lower and GDP was much lower and Sources of Income were different.
With Steep increase in Population and GDP and Totally different sources of Income there is a need for looking at the relevance of Laws

I agree with Aarti's contentions. Laws such as IPC & Evidence Act, eventhough enacted a century back, needed only few amendments to bring them in line with today's world. I am of the opinion that drafters need to be more logical while making drafts. this will enable the legislation to stand the test of time as well as reduce the load of litigations on already burdened courts.
