The review is necessary but there are many areas where review id not necessary. To reconstruct the constitution will be a difficult step The better way is to review few laws and review laws time to time so that a sudden change is not needed. It is difficult and out of question to review all the all laws at a time. Anyways according to need new laws keep on coming and so system remains stable.

The Times of India given a show on front page certain days before indicating the travelling on the roof of trasn, Ganga full of garbage on start point. Cat crossed the road on indepence day. Transportation is carrying human being as animal etc.

We have to have a re-look on every aspect of our constitution, given the number of loopholes spotted, mis-interpretations creating precedence, and the nature in which the globalisation has taken place, better to recast the constitution taking in insights from the experiences over 60 years and the number of amendments the original constitution had to go through in all these years.

Most of Indian Laws were enacted (copied from UK) 60 Yrs back (at the time of Indpendence) when India population was much lower and GDP was much lower and Sources of Income were different. With Steep increase in Population and GDP and Totally different sources of Income there is a need for looking at the relevance of Laws

the need is only to ammend the old acts rather than that implementing authorties need to amend themselves i.e suo moto problem sorting and foresightedness.

I agree.Total review of Laws and Constitution is not necessary.Enactment of new laws and amendments in the existing laws and Constitution whenever required, would be sufficient to make them relevant.

I agree with Aarti's contentions. Laws such as IPC & Evidence Act, eventhough enacted a century back, needed only few amendments to bring them in line with today's world.

I am of the opinion that drafters need to be more logical while making drafts. this will enable the legislation to stand the test of time as well as reduce the load of litigations on already burdened courts.
