THANK YOU SHILPA FOR YOUR INVITATION. AS MANY HAVE POINTED OUT THERE IS NOT THE SLIGHTEST QUALM ABOUT CBI`S CAPABILITIES.BUT IN OUR COUNTRY THEY CAN ONLY RECOMMEND THE ACTION TO BE TAKEN AND BY NO STRETCH OF IMAGINATION THEY ARE THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY TO DECIDE AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST THE CULPRITS.SO THEIR JOB IS OVER AS SOON AS THE REPORT IS READY IN MANY CASES.AND THE REPORTS REACH THE PLACE WHERE THEY ARE INTENDED TO BE.

unless and until the law governing corruption and illegal cases are made strong irrespective of position and power of accused nothing can bring change in this country.

Yes I agree with you Ms.Shilpa Ji. The reasons are best known to the peoples handling the issues. May be due to interferences from the higher ups and the CBI has also to fall in line with their superior's instructions. At least the CBI should act on its own based the facts surrounding the investigations and should be allowed to act freely without any pressure from the.... similar to independent investigating agency in United States & Briton.

The problem is not limited to CBI or GOI or anyone in particular. It is a hugely bigger problems wherein a vast majority appears to have lost any sense of ownership, sense of responsibility, reason, logic or sense of belonging to the nation. As a result care for self benefits, accumulation for self, on in short self-servicing is the sole motive. Plundering and looting of national resources, cornering major share of public money for self are deemed much preferred way of living. MY Name, My Power, My Government, My Balance of power, My Needs, My job is of sole importance and herein we seem to even overlook if future would remember us as King Mida's and No more a human

GoI (irrespective of the political party comes into its driver's seat) and CBI is very good friend to each other. CBI does things in favour of GoI (NOT for the people, of the people, by the people) who drives it.

If CBI has to proceed further in the pending cases they must need a autonomy to investigate, for that thay has to get authorisation from govt to investigate the cases, if govt is not keen to close the cases, then there is question of acting on pending cases..

i think CBI should be made a seperate entity. with no relation with indian politics thus CBI cannot be bullished or borrowed. things will be concerned as top secret legacy without any intimation to indian politics thus we can put corrupt diplomats behind bars and bring real justice to our country without a spot on CBI career.also salaries of CBI should be hiked so that they cannot be brived. only guys with real patriotism in there heart should be hired in CBI.

It boils down to one thing, after your personnel spent hundreds of hours and thousands of rupees gathering evidence, how can you let these people go. In past 20 years I hardly saw a case of corruption ended in conviction of the culprit. Our Law has to be strengthened. Except for Defense and national security matters everything else should be made as transparent as possible.

Let people do their job - CBI, Police etc. Let them give their unbiased report. Their job is done. Wahat the Government does to that report should not be a governing factor during the investigation. Also any "hints" that the Govenment can give can be totally ignored. Go by the mandate of the articles that created this investigation, submit your report and exit. Simply do jour job and do not bother about the results. That is what the Gita tells us. Let us follow it.

Our Judicial system involving Investigating agencies like Police/CBI/RAW, Judiciary etc are only there to provide business and employment opportuinities to Lawyers and related enterprices in the chain. STrengthening these agancies waste of public money. They have only become tools in the hands of politicians. How can one expect to get justice and solutions when all these agencies are under the elected representatives. As long as they have to be under elected people for their fund requirement and salaries they will be the slaves of these people. Even a Supreme Court Judge or Loka Ayukata has to beg the politicain for sanction and approval of salries perks, funds required for infrastructure. We need to change our constitution to give Autonomy to Police/CBI/Judiciary so that these instituions become financially indipendent, only qualified persons can enter these profession, Only merit can get promotions in these institutions, Only a referandum from people can alter their style of working and once in five years working manuals and code of conduct for their functioning is revised based on the need with the help of scientists in the field and approval by referandum from ony educated people without criminal background. To day we are ruled by Goondas and criminals elected by hardly 15% of the population. (only 60% of the population is elegible to vote because of maturity age restriction and only 50% of people Vote and the ruling party gets 35% of votes polled). Cast and reservation system has resulted in people who are not capable of and qualified enough to occupy seats of power in these institutions and made these institutions puppets of Politicians and we call that Great Democracy

I feel the CBI is not free from governmental dictats. Too, in quite a few cases it has a pretty unimpressive investigation record - such as the Arushi case, and various cases against political bigwigs. If the IPL issue is being investigated, will for example the role of all concerned - including any cabinet ministers who could be involved - be taken up? Unlikely, for the terms of reference is likely to be framed to exclude comprehensive coverage. Also there have been too many instances where CBI findings haven't resulted in effective prosecution leading to indictments. On the whole CBI investigations lat best lead to selective cleansing!

Actually CBI is working under the instruction of Ruling Government. Whatever instructions are passed they use to follow. Personnel involved in major ghotals and incidents are often the part of the political parties or connected with them. So handing over case to CBI means you are giving case to the ruling party. If the case is beneficial to ruling party or that can work as a weapon against other parties they will take keen interest in the case and inquiry will be fast. If not then samho "thande baste mein gaya" At all chor chor mousere bhai.

Many scams happen and it will continue in the future unless proper governance measures are put in place by CBI/GOI. They are on the right track with the policies and rules, but when it comes to implementation of the practices, it is not sound. This leads to gaps which are exploited by every one and the net result is more scams and other issues. These cannot be prevented completely till proper measures are in place, but these may at least be reduced if the implementation of the policy/rules are improved.

CBI being being under cetral govt control, has been generally used by successive govt to fulfill its political need whereas it should have been an independent organization for criminal investigation. CBI need to be overhauled, freed from political control so as to fulfill its declared objectives

I think all the CBI or the GOI's view in the scams are dull and only a election propaganda.
What happend in the case of Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Madu Koda. Scam of more than 4000 crores of rupees. It became only a elction propaganda.

It is reported and by now known to most of us that : there are more than 9,000 cases pending with CBI to be finalised. CBI has been formed in 1941, was called SPE to probe extra ordinary cases in Delhi and Union Teretories and in states where State Govt.s have agreed to. This Agency reports to (not controlled) by Central Govt. Some have notion that CBI probe is fool-proof - thus more and more use of CBI. Very recently CBI un-earthed properties of President, Medical Council of India in Ahmedabad in huge amount. Investigations continue. ...... investigation continues ... means what ? They are to establish in the court . Now, which one gets priority, who decides ... ? Here comes the ( indirect ) role of GOI - its leaders. Many cases and have political angels. Corruption is everywhere, some CBI Inspectors are seen to be arrested. Equally we know, that one day such cases are to be closed by CBI. Now, one is to decide who are in right path.

Our CBI TEAM is amongst the best teams of the whole world. It is full of competent & intelligent persons. The process of selection have been very strong. Many a times they have solved the cases. Surely, they may have filed in some cases. But in majority of the cases they have succeeded. Now, due to corruption they selection process have taken a set back. The working process of the team is influenced by the politicians & the habits of politicians. Suppose some big politicians are involved in the IPL & if the CBI would be given the responsibility to crack down. Then they will be very much solve the case, but no action would be taken place because some huge politicians are involved. Then the Indian Nationals will blame CBI for not solving the case. It is a fact that Maharastra Police force is among the top police forces of the world, then how can one believe that CBI is a failure.
