"YES"and it is the congress force to divert public attention from the number of scams they have done. They want to take credit for the Suresh Kalmadi's arrest to show that they are against corruption but the credit goes to civil society and the media who highlighted the same on every news channel. Dighvijay singh was asking for a warrant when Rahul gandhi was arrested in Bhatta Parsaul but Baba ramdev was arrested in an unconstitutional way. The government has many colours which we will see in coming days. The PM has nothing to say on all the happenings and maintaning silence. In the meantime the petrol prices may be raised again.

Well, they may not defame, but would try to dilute and destroy the whole process and make this bill insignificant. Else politics would become another uninteresting profession , where they could not make money. While this bill may not be a solution for all the corruption, it would perhaps bring out facts and provide an opportunity for the general public to punish them.Hence we all need to stand up together and support the leader in Anna, and help him make this a reality. This would definitely become a precedence and pave way for more such revolutionary reformations. K.P.Mohanakrishnan GM,CADES Tech,Bangalore

Its true that bureaucrats have not been able to tolerate the success of the movements and are making attempts to defame Anna Hazare and the movement. It is the responsibility of the citizens to analyze the validity of such remarks. Even if it is true that major funds have been spent in publicity, it is unarguably the best method and it is also to be noted that these funds are used properly which has lead to the success of the movement.

yes some forces are trying to dilute the anti-corruption movement knowingly & some unknowingly by rushing to media by issuing statements thereby kicking up dust & confusing the people & leadership. Politicians especially the opposition parties doing it deliberately since they do not want this bill should be passed without their support & want to hog limelight. Except one major opposition party none of so called secular parties,Labor parties has promised the people/nation that they will pass such bill unanimously when presented in the Parliament. By rising unwanted controversies like Anna has appreciated Modi,Father& son in the committee etc. thro'media rather than getting clarification from Anna & his associates Directly by these Yoga Guru & Activists, so that Anna & his associates has spend their time & energy into convincing & giving explanation to these people rather than drafting the Lokpal Bill which is crucial. Media & People should ignore these guys till such time that the Bill Drafted & presented otherwise we will end up in loosing golden opportunity to bring in financial discipline among the politicians. .

"Vilification campaign" to demoralise Anna ji is already on! Anna ji should not have left Jantar Mantar till the outcome is reached. The momentum he created, there is a fear, will dissipate as some of the social activists, like, Medha Phadkar, Mallika Sarabhai, and many others asked Anna ji to retract his praise on Modi! They are making a non-issue an issue!

Political parties and leaders will always try to hijack a popular movement for their personal gains. Even the Govt. is trying to liquidate the movement. As long as people are behind the movement, it is not that easy to stab the movement. No political support shall be sought for strengthening movement. Some idiotic political brains have raised questions on the channel of funds it received for promoting the movement. Corruption is deep rooted, its not that easy to wipe out at once, Anna and his supporters (including we) know the fact. But a step forward for eradication of this social evil is required and it happened with Anna's Fast unto death. Let us see what happens, how sincere the Govt. and how strong the people are.

they are not defaming it rather they are bringing the other side of the story out.we,as human beings, love to see what majority sees n if some dares to question that we take it in a negative way.they are just raising the questions or highlighting the problem which are attatched withthis purposed bill.

Any movement will have supporters and also opponents, but in this case the opponents are stronger because they are more in number, they are entrenched in powerful positions, they have their ill gotten money, so the supporters should have strong will to overcome the opposition by being true to the cause.
