Are the national news channels really national???

The so called national news channels focus only the news that bring high incomes to them. Various prgrammes shown on these channels are of no importance like that of ram ka janm, kahani saas bahu ki etc. moreover, these are supposed to give national news news not the regional or individual ones, falling of a kid in a bore well, or theft in a small town , fight of school kids are not what a national news channel is supposed to show.

News channels like aaj tak, zee news, ibn7 are all falling a prey to the regional news. most f the time the focus of these NATIONAL news channels have limited to regions.

I completely agree with Prassan's idea. the way these banks make the selection should be amended. It is very time consuming. The gestation from which a candidate gives his exam to final placement is so large that the candidate shifts to some other place.
