Yesterday 500 students from Symboysis college of management are arrested for creating nuisance to villagers of Theur village, the place famous for One of the Ganesh temple from Ashtavinayaka & also it have historical importance & 28 km from Pune city.

Party was arranged by one of the student from college at his farm house, which was started at 9.00 p.m. It have arrangement of loud music,DJ, & bottles/ gallons of high quality wine, beer, hard drink. & the noise was tremendous that it can hear in 4/5 km from venue.

It is freshers party & age group of the students are 22 to 24. & almost 95% are found in the drunken state when testing was done by Dist. Medical Officer & D.S.P.

All these students are from high society & most of them are children of top govt.officers/magistrates/doctors/politicians & their parents hardly have any idea about their actions

So to enjoy freshers party is part of the college & no one have any objection for that.

But is it right to creat nuisance due to your party to other residents?

I sincerely agree that the present generation is lacking with the social responsibilities not only towards the society but towards their family, as well. Here, it would not be out of place to mention that there is huge percentile of youngsters who possess a higher sense of responsibility in comparison to the present middle age generation. Such youth are so much  that they even forgo there age and private commitments to meet the social requirements. The reason behind, present middle age gens of which major part is post graduate (max) without IT and have seen only Radio to Computer but the present youth is facing changes in technology with change of calender. These changes makes them to adapt the environmental changes very quickly and implement them in their day to day applications. NO DOUBT, a handful percentage of these youngsters are on their bikes and look for a partner for their pinion seat, drive to some dating corner, chat and gossip on the round abouts, most of them are egoistic and ir-responsible even to their studies, forget about social or society. Keep Family apart, pocket money is the only they care for, else crudely fight out for the solution. THE EXCEPTIONS can not be mixed with commons hence with an objection to the argument I oppose the same.

yes shilpa, it is unfortunate that most of the youth have any idea of social responsibility & this is mainly due to the lack of value based upbringing & grooming by the parents & teachers. It is shocking to note that these students are belonging to prestigious institute & pursuing Management course, future Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs.  This is the result of the policy adopted by the institute to encourage donation admission.  What abt 81 students who has not joined the majority? Do they don't want Friendship Day Celebrations?

See comments of  so called prominent leaders  rather than appreciating the police action, they r trying to project the incidence as a minor one & police action as harsh.  Because, most of these students being their sons, daughters, grand daughters ,grandsons, nephews, niece, cousins relatives etc.,

It is shocking to note that a prominent respected former police commissioner has said that it is Harsh treatment meted out to students because No Drugs r found, only Drinks, see the irony.  So Drinks party is OK for them.  These nasty guys & girls are their breed what do u expect Social Responsibility,Decency from these grownup adult ruts.

We should appreciate the police timely  action in order to avoid clash between locals/villagers & students, which would have been violent.  Thank for the stern action  so that it will be Deterrent  for such large scale nuisance under the guise of party. Even Institute also has to be responsible & take stern action against the guilty.  A few innocent students might hv affected but yes this is the price they have to pay for their group selection & under go punishment & come clean & treat it as a part of  Management Lesson.

Yes we hardly find it in them. They always see it form their side and wanted to be happy. But will not think of the impact it creates on others.... So they need to be more responsible.....

I agree with Mr. Akhilesh S Joshi.. There are very less numbers of young generation who understand social responsibility and rest of the people never think about there responsibility...!!

I want to support this side. Our ads are good & shows that we have creative ideas, but some ads are really bad to see. Ex. Saif 's ad of Rupa Frontline.
May be the best option in current scenario.
May be it's a dark spot on all of us. Hope Delhi Police will be able to give justice to the brave girl.
