Every one is angry with our leader but the question is who made them leader ? Yes we people elect them as our leader and they cheat all of us.. Why we always choose wrong person ? Why we go for big party ? Why don't we support right person... We can change whole scenario, every thing is in our hand but we are not doing this... So please think about it and share your views here !!

Our political system is a mess. The mushrooming of parties ,often on caste basis, or personality basis, have forced the voters to select the less-evil of the many worthless candidates put forward by these political parties. More young, sincere and honest persons should enter politics. A two-party system based on ideology will be far better.

I am neither against this debate nor against the valubale suggetions made by participants.. In a democratic country many of the people dont have much choice..

But I just want to give an option which we are unaware and no polititians are dared to disclose... It is so imortant... Please spread them to as much people...

For those who don't know this... its important to know...

VERY VERY IMPORTANT

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the
1969 act, in section " 49-O " that a person can go to the polling
booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked, and convey the presiding
election officer that he / she doesn't want to vote anyone !

Yes, such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly
notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called " 49-O ".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NO BODY " ? ... Because, in a ward, if
a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has
received " 49-O" votes more than 123 , then that polling will be
cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of
the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling,
since people had already expressed their decision on them.

This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine
candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way,
of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election
commission has not revealed such a feature to the public.... Please
spread this news to as many as you know... Seems to be a wonderful weapon
against corrupt parties in India ... show your power, expressing your
desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't
miss your chance.

So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote "49-O ") and pass on this
info...

Please inform to as many as possible, so that we, the People
of India , can really use this power to save our nation.

Thanks for invite Manoj,

Wrong candidates winning is because of several reasons

As you mentioned about right to refuse: How many in India are even aware of right to vote in first place? Electoral rolls itself get fudged and doctored. Caste Creed, Proximity or small self benefit carrots dangling are sufficient to lure many. Short term benefit over long term advantage is almost always misplaced.

The truth is spread and awareness of constitution, its applicability and practice itself is at fault. Else a criminal can never be able to make it to so termed august houses.

I agree with Manoj.

But we have to keep in mind that when, as a collective, we manage to elect somebody by a majority we must try to support the winning candidate... Not simply oppose him/her because of Ideological differences, Party, Caste or Political reasons.

Opposition MUST be on ISSUES:Of development,   Unfair practices,  Mismanagment,  Laziness,  Moral or criminal activities.

I would also like to have a "Recall Vote" where on 2/3rd majority the elected member can be recalled and a re-election be carried out.

Despite of knowing the fact that we are electing a wrong person we are helpless because we have to only choose from the people who compete in an election. is there any true leader who has competed for election. these days politics is a thing which belongs to only few parties who just spend money and use power to win they play the dirty game among themselves. common man is just a spectator and who so ever supports a leader does that for their own personal interest like the people who are in the party work for their recognition in the party, people from high societies support to earn benefits from the leaders. middle class people have no choice but to vote anyone and whosoever they feel is of their clan, the lower class people are taken by the false promise and just in order to make conditions better and for few monetary gains they vote in their favour. so where is the geniuinity. where is that deserving leader who is the right person. Gone are those days when people used to fight for their freedom. Earlier Indians were slaves for the britishers and now they are no different under the leaders who work for their own welfare but not for the citizens. sometime just go to the interiors of Madhya Pradesh which is one of the biggest states in India but see the plight of the suffering people who are even in these days living in starving conditions why because if that area will develop from where will these leaders get funds to fill in their own pockets. so to avoid this situation we need to step forward to fight collectively against this dirty politics, only then we will be liberated from the rule of these selfish leaders.

Thanks Manoj for such mindblowing truth, which I feel most of us are not aware of.

Ithink it will take some time or may not be practised at all in our country in near future.

I personally feel in our country there should be only national parties who they will fight the election so that there will be a healthy competition and only two parties will be there or three.

In this case accountability increases four fold for both and the common man will be benifitted. However there will be blackships will be there as they are present all over the country.
