I do agree with the above participants... India has its own renowned varsities... even the various foreigner students study there... the students who passed out from these institutions has a great demand in foreign... because they have well developed mind & innovative thoughts...on the other hand they are hard workers as well as responsible...

When our education department make any rule for benefit of our education system then no one follow that rule b,coz of lake of training even some of the school teacher don,t know how to teach student. So first our education department should trained our teachers then they make any rule. Then only that rule will implement and i am not agree...to improve education standard we do need foreign Universities............

Dont see any reasons why we should.India has always been and still is one of the major suppliers of intelligent brains in different industries around the world. The fact that Nitin Nohria becoming the dean of Harvard buisness school clearly states Indians and Indian universities are still good when it comes to quality education.

Indian Higher Educational system has stood the test of times. It becomes evident when we interact with people from different parts of the world. Barring few Tagged Universities - as World's Best, most of the others are very normal ones. In comparison to that, India too has few of the world's best - the IIT for technology, IIM - for Management, AIIMS - for Medical Education, NLS - for Law, IISc - for other science degrees etc., The candidates passing out of these premier institutions are the best paid in the whole world and are in great demand. We only need to increase the number of such institutions without any compromise in Quality.

Yes we need as we are far behind in eductional infrastucture. By this way only we can stop the students who are going abroad for higher education. Indian universities will also improve their quality of eduction. The people who are saying that we have better unviversities then they should check the world rating of these universities and foreign student enrolment in these universities.

I do agree that India has a vast history of giving high class education . In current Scenario, as per the demand of Globalization, we need exposure in various cultures , traditions and methods of educational system. there for i believe , we need foreign universities to expand the area of exposure & expertise of our own educational system as well as to introduce the great saga of Indian educational systems in front of the others too.

We do need a lot more investments coming from the private sector as well as foreign investors if we have to achieve our target of increasing the total to 6 per cent of the GDP. Besides we might also do well to have foreigners - faculty as well as students in our local universities if India is to become a part of a truly global economy.
