I support no becuase any change in the rural landscape is a change for development. Change cannot happen without business stepping in. How long can you be dependent on a govt. rife with corruption and interested in vote bank politics alone to ring in the chain ? Thats where business step in. As long as their CSR quotient is taken care of, there is no harm in profiting from a rural venture. For eg., lets take the advent of windmills in rural Tamil Nadu like Nagercoil and Kanyakumari districts. What it has done is pushed up land prices and as a result turned barren land owners into wealthy ones. This has had an all round effect on the rural economy by ushering in much needed funds for development.Jamshedpur is another example i can give. See the level of development after TATA set up its steel plant.

The ultimate aim of every business is profit except Non Profit Organization. Rural Development/Location Development comes secondary for every business men. But whenever a business comes to a rural area, not many locals get jobs into that company,bt the advantage is that the place would become known all basic facilities will reach that village soon. Also the prices of land would increase, transportation would increase, slowly schools starts opening and gradually the village develops in all means.
