Yes we are,but we take it very casual as we think it doesn't gonna change our day-to-day life.and this kind of tendancy generates because of the poor execution by the currupted politicians, who are hungry for money and for that they can go upto any extent. We are not lazy or dump but the government we get that makes dump. The only thing we can goverment should also strict with the criteria to be in politician such as should have well degree, well background to make them stand as a leader.

In general I agree. But we are not dumb, lazy or stupid people. We are just being opportunistic and care less for the people around us. It is always about 'me' than anything and we dont' mind breaking the rules and going in illegal ways to achieve what we want even at the inconvenience to the other righteous people. I don't care what were the circumstances that made us that way. The effect is that we are non-chalant, self-centric and selfish people. This has to change. All we know is to blame the policians and the Government. But we conveniently forget that we also act like politicians, but at a different level.

We are dumb. 1> For example if any person is offering bribe and we have seen it then at that time we act as dumb instead we can suggest him not to offer the bribe or complaint to higher authorites.... 2> We act as dumb to fullfill our selfish use thinking that if i complain then my work will never be processed or completed. 3> We are in dielama. If we complaint to ACB about corrupted official they will suspend him for 3-6 months and again he will be brought to work. Then we feels that the corrupted official brought to work will delay or process his work late. And we do not complain instead we act as dumb citizens..

we are lazy. 1.) For example to obtain date of birth certificate we do not follow the procedure because it takes time and huge process instead we offer bribe to a concerned official and he will issue it in less than one week. in this way we are lazy in following the formalities. 2.)If we have seen corruption then we do not complain to concerned authorities immediately instead we postponed it saying tomorrow, tomorrow...................and the tomorrow never comes. We want our work related to government to be completely as fast as possible without any effort, The easiest way we think is to offer bribes even to attenders, peons so that his related files can be processed fastly....

yes, As we elected this government we are responsible for it. we can question the politicians, government officials but we don't because we think its waste of time complaining to ACB. Even we offer bribe to officials so that our work can be completed fastly. We are spoiling the government by offering bribes for our selfish use. We should not blame others instead we should not offer bribes, feel responsibility to curb corruption and if possible track the crime u have seen and take it to the notice of media....

Yes its our mistake that we never speak anything against the corrupt syste. Most of the youth is busy in sex and alsohol and money. They always like to dream about the dollara and pound but have no interest for our own country. Its our mistake, we are dumb against the corrupt. We choose the politicians on behalf of caste and religion and then they fuck us. We like to do debate here on social sites and with our neighbours or with friends (when we are drunk or when there is a terroist activity) and after few hours , we forgot everything and like to chase the dreans of babes, alcohol, Canada or Paris and other things. But no one have time to think about our country. We dunn like to vote as all are corrupt. And this is the reason these morons got elected by distributing alcohol or money to poor ones. People says India is Shining. but the fact is that more then 60% people are not able to give proper education to their children, 40% have no food atleast once in a day.Is this is the way our India is Shining, but we do not like to speak anything against these morons who are running our country.

We are not lazy,we are not dumb and we are not stupid, we are just following our culture to respect older's, and and the thing is that no one want to become volunteer to clean the politician image, corruption is taking down the country... now the time is to change the way we are working, voting, and the entire system, just sitting and making comments over politcian, politics is not our duty,we have to become a true indian and become a volunteer to make our country clean, there are many rules which people do not follow, a system has to be developed,in that something need to be diffrent so that everyone has to strictly follow the rules, we have to think over that, cause we are not dumb, stupid, or lazy, the system which works in 1947 it is not necessary that it will work properly in 2011, we have to redefine it,in a different manner with new ideas.

I am not wise enough to speak about the politics or growth of the country. but by seeing the daily news and the growth around us. i think whatever is happening in the country is not going good as we think. We are not serious about anything at some point of time and we just blame the government that they are corrupt and the just make money. Is it not our right to fight against this people and work towards our country just like how we see the growth in our Organization. Are we cowards and dont take any risk and leave for god to take care of everything. Lack of unity and strength is missing in us and lazyness is covered our body. if we leave this and fight towards it i think not more than 5 years from now we will see definately the india as the most powerful and best economic country in the world.

We should elect the good & honest person rather than voting based on the party. If any party don't get the majority, definitely they would need these guys support to form the govt. Also there should be a change in law, as we elect, we should have the power to pull them back, when they are not performing as expected or corrupting the mechanism.

You can not include every body in the list. A large portion of Indian population are not educated and they can not make their own judgment they depend on others opinion and our politicians are good in exploiting the same. Secondly there is poverty and the poor lots sell their votes for few rupees so that they can meet their needs. So the corrupt politicians gets elected and we get corrupt government. Instead of saying dumb lazy etc., we have to address the basic issues and make the masses aware of issues so that they can elect the right leaders.

No individual is lazy, dumb or stupid. It is the circumstances that lead to actions which depict such behaviour. We must realize how these situations were created & then work to reverse the scenario. When we were young in the 1950's the audio visual aids for educating the people were Radio Newspapers and 16mm projectors to show news reels. In addition cinema was available to a limited audience through Cinema halls. At that time the Radio was controlled by the state, the newspapers relied on state owned News Agencies or overseas agencies all of which were self-disciplined. The aims and objectives were also clear viz. to present before the public current affairs, depict growth of the nation, a honest and unbiased criticism of the policies of Govt and its leaders and provide material for entertainment such as humour through cartoons and literature ie. short stories etc in weekly magazines. The publishers of books and magazines also had similar objectives. 2 TO 3 DECADES AFTER INDEPENDANCE THERE WAS A PARADIGM SHIFT, A PHENOMENON THAT OCCURS ONCE IN 30 YEARS. The population grew at an alarming rate due to the welfare measures adopted by the state. Epidemics were rare, better health facilities were made available, human losses through famine, drought & floods were greatly reduced. Education was widespread and people became more aware of their capabilities. The rapid advancement in technlogy led to opening of new avenues in all spheres of life and the younger generation began to think of themselves as the capable and most knowledgeable and ignored the superiors. They ventured to build a new society Ultra modern where ETHICS, RESPECT FOR OTHERS, HONESTY, CIVIC SENSE, MORALITY, COMMITMENT TO SOCIETY, SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY HAS NO ROOM at all. The expansion was so fast that it was beyond the control of the Govt. The result is what we are lamenting today. Only a miracle can change the situation overnight. It is the duty of all young and old alike to do some introspection and resolve to give up the unfair practices which have become the rule of the day. Each person has to take the lead and not point a finger to the others. I appeal to all the media persons to promote activities which will help in building a better society. Then only we can get the right type of leaders and an efficient government.

No, we are not. 1> Corruption is a "byproduct" of speed\growth\instant result required. 2> I think "majority" of us has accepted it.That's why it is strengthened. 3>People against can be put on "Test",when they comes practically with this problem rather than writing pages and pages. 4>In practical when ppl comes accross corruption\bribe at that time they are thinking it as a personal\selfish rather than contry issue.

We are the part of the game in Democracy therefore we are equally responsible. Off course I agree that corrupt receives more support as the corrupt know the weakness of the society and utilise it – find and mention one, who don’t obey the said system pls!

We are not following anything according to our culture. In our culture there is an Epic " Bhagvat Geeta" which says, if you are silent on a crime, then you are also a criminal. The truth is that we are busy in sex, alcohol, in overseas career and other things. But we dunn like to think about our own responsibility. This is our laziness, and our fault. We like to blame our politicians , but who made them so powerfull. Why we like to choose the corrupt ones eg: Sharad Pawar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Shibu Soren, Mulayam Singh, Mayavati, KarunaNidhi? Its our mistake .

We are not at all stupid otherwise we would not have selected Nitish Kumar for his good work that he has done. India is what it is not because of the Govt but rather "inspite" of the Govt. The business of politics will always ask difficult questions.

To be exact we are not dumb or stupid at all. We are very clever and enough intelligent to think of our own interests. I think I can divide the whole into 2 points-- 1) Even if we think of unseating a government a new one will take over which is also corrupt. Can anyone talk about a single party which is corruptionless. I think politics has become a way of corruption and manipulation. So, There is no way out. Even people support the party where they find their own interest. 2) Some people are too busy in their own interest to think of this apparently general concern. Until something disturbs him more than his neighbors he does not take action. As corruption affects every normal person in almost in the same proportion so there is no urge to act against it.
