I think for a project three things play an important role-Money/Time/Completion date.the things is that proper planning should be done for every aspect taking some days as buffer safety stock;so that if in anywhere the time slips the buffer safety days can be used for the same. Dear it is only PROPER PLANNING-FOLLOW UP AND COORDINATION.

Construction process in India is very inefficient, builders of middle east and china laugh at us. Recently I read about a 15 story hotel being built in china in just 6 days, they used pre fabricated components. Well time is money. We don't have trained people in construction industry. We can only hope for reformed laws to prevent builder corruption and techs such as prefab buildings and robotic gantry 3d printing cranes to our rescue.

Dear Mr Kandavel Raja, Your comments indicate to be on wrong side of column, as you seem to agree there is a time wastage. The problem is most Indian Managers and above feel their job is limited to design plan in air-conditioned offices and at best once in a longwile take stroll through work site and fire at the real workers for all delays and deficiencies. it never seems to occur to most that if technology can allow a laptop to be carried with macro level project details to site it has to made use of, by being at site and assessing frequently and course-correcting.

Most of the time no. Construction projects especially in India never have any time constraint. Since there is a huge demand and growth seen in infrastructure projects utilizing time will help in efficient results.

According to my view its difficult to plan and prioritize in construction projects. Its happen because of lack of manpower, delay of supply of raw material and weather condition. so i think utilization of time is very difficult in construction project.
