Are we working for Chop Shops

During the recession all IT companies were handing out pink slips to their employees on the flimsiest grounds.

Now when the recession has finished and the job market has suddenly opened up, there is a need to ensure no employee leaves the organization and therefore a mandatory 3 month notice period is being pushed out across the industry. Even the most un-productive employee is being told that they have to server 3 months notice without exceptons.

If a frustrated employee wants to complain about it, there is a gag order that no one complains about company policies or management style.

This is enslavement of people. I think the Indian owned IT companies and their management is woring in the typical style of the hindi film zamindars that want to progress and make money at the cost of their enslaved servants. Majority of the IT employees are frustrated. Take a look at the statistics of Wipro and Infosys employees commiting Suicides and the number of failed marriages etc.
