Personally blame peer pressure in the office and staff as well as lack of initiative in a woman, thus they DO become seksually liberal but at same time have to bear consequences later. Alcohol too, often clouds judgment... more the drink, more the conscience becomes silent..What is the difference then between bit**s and us? they also eat, sleep, mate and defend.. so do we.. so whats the difference between humans and animals then?? one has literacy but not spiritual enough.. just have to find balance and do it with right person at right time :)

Huh...Today's woman thinking. If we can get promotion by sleeping 1 night with boss what is the wrong in it. We have to remain with our husbund whole life and he has to use us for whole life and we have to listen him in restricted way. Sexual liberty is the thing that gal become disloyal about relations. Yeah if 1 is without any relation she must have her rights but now a days 1 woman making choices in between more than 1 man. Professional woman thinks that they are more powerful and they sometimes forget what is ethical and unethical about this norm they can betray their lover without knowing the consequences. If 1 woman is loyal to 1 man she has capability to take decision for making her sexual relationships. Don't get motivated by Hollywood movies its a worst thing.

Within the current socio-economical restriction a man can’t do anything he want as same as women also but related with enjoyment both men and women can enjoy their life. Within the system no one can stop women to fulfill her desire.

Accept what god has bestowed you gracefully & accordingly, adjust to living conditions prevailing. No more, woman are merely, to give birth to child. They are, equally, responsible for uplifting the society too.

Yes, in general women have become sexually bold barring the ones who are in the rural parts of the country that constitutes a significant percentage of the total women population. But as things are changing and rural women come face to face with the city life, the once-upon-a-time shy and timid beauty turns into a rock 'n' roll kinda damsel who at her will can make a man's heart race faster than the ferrari and the pupil become much bigger than what the women can think of. If you compare the present situation with that of 50 years back, man, I bet you, you would not dream of any woman going for abortion or even displaying some bold moves in public places (which is a 70mm in live action). Yes, it is a male dominated society where a woman need to dance to the tunes of a man's desire but with the rapid development of the society, in the current scenario, sometimes their boldness springs a few surprises to the men around them that even they find it hard to digest. And when they do realise the new woman in her, he becomes more careless about her sexuality. This is where it will take time for the society to mature and once it matures you will find the women liberated from the stereotypes of yesteryears. Love, Sex and Dhoka would be running in every lanes and by-lanes and not in a 70mm screen.

May be for the first time in the history of India, woman has a right to express herself as they are now increasingly getting financially independent and that independence is making them liberated including sexually liberation..

I am supporting Kavitha not because of referral, but fact is that there is subtle change in the attitude of women. This apart, what Gargi sinha, has invested is also true that child marriages are still galore in part of Rajasthan.

Yes Kavitaa today's women is much more liberated, competitive & take her own decisions & economically independent. Why in cosmopolitan cities, even women belongs to non-metros are showing the sign of boldness & progress in this regard. But I feel that somewhere she is loosing her sensitivity & values and bit confused after achieving her goal. Well to get something you have to loose something who cares. Bravo women

yes, they are truly liberated and westernised. When not married they enjoy physical relationships and when married believe in open marriages. Where these westernised concepts will take our society only god knows. They say ," It`s there body, there life , who the hell husband/boyfriend is to ask them".

I agree with your point if view and also that yes now females are also getting educated and aware of Sex, But this all about the females who are living in cities or well grown towns, But do we agree the same for the females who are in the rural portions of India or villages or in towns, there the situation seems slight different, still it believed that going out after 7-8 pm (for females) is wrong, or taken wrong,

Today's women is financially independent and she can take her own course of action not dependent on others choices. But one should not forget that there are some natural disadvantages for her. A person responsible for pregnancy has nothing to worry about but the lady will get the pregnancy and she has to take a decision whether to carry or kill it. Cinemas are prompting the society about living together, accepting pregnancy or opting for abortion etc.and about other sexual liberations. Society will take its own course of time to accept these things. As long as it does not hinder the progress of the society and the women in particular it can be acceptable.

So long as they stay well within limits, that's fine! Because of such acts, they are turning younger masculine genders vultures and beasts! Day in and day out, the media is hounding that Delhi is not safe, our metros are not safe for girls, etc. Cosmopolitan for the sake of fun and entertainment and business interest print and publish whatever they deem fit! Once a girl loses her chastity, the stigma would haunt her for life - however, you think you have changed, the society remains to be changed as per your thinking!

Literacy matters. Just to think of a boy who can go anywhere, do anything, live what he likes. But a girl? More literacy and economic independence results, in Hydrabad, a new culture called 'living together'. Can anybody marry her after this unmarried life? Only little percentage is in this condition. Lot of women dont have any option to have or to stop sex.

"Liberty comes with literacy". Neither "Boys" (Men) nor "Girls" (Women) possess proper literacy towards this issue, and yet, this very factor acts as a strongest drive in our lives as we bottle the feelings in and fear to express, especially in a conservative society such as in India! Just by behaving freely or by thinking that s/he is independent, one cannot be truly liberated. The "Fun, Fearless Female" portrayal is but a mirage in the desert of the cosmopolitan and will seem like an oasis until the woman doesn't meet opposition! If women today think they have become more "Independent", then men have become more "Careless" about what a woman feels! Yes, that's the fact! And the rural India hasn't changed a bit! Educating the masses, especially the youth is required today. And parents should be the first Gurus! Beautifully phrased question! Yes, 70mm fiction is much of a reality even today! Completeness in one's personality is yet to be found! Thanks for inviting @Kavitha!

Only miniscule percent of woman think they are equal to men and it is mutual understanding, friendship, give and take worship each other and belong to both the families together and make marriage a haven. Most woman feel they are the bosses at home or when they are together with men and try to control them. Even when they participate in sex after the event they think they have been outwitted by men and blame them. Todays girls and boys think they are in pure love and no one caan separate them but once the desire for sex vanishes they get bored with each other and end up in divorce. May be some of them moght even go the extent of using sex as a tool and even harase the men. Some woman might resort to the use of Section 498A and men try to extort them for money. Cinema in most cases ruines families rather than unite them on the basis of equality. Cinema is responsible for spoiling the youth today. If we have to change the situation we need to bring in reforms in our relegion first as per the requirement of the day. Ask any girl most would want to marry acording to relegion and cusstoms. When a father gives her away as goift to a boy how can expect freedom for her. Woman are the enemies of woman in this respect. This situation should change. Woman and men are equals and like two sides of a coin. Sex is only to satisfy the biological needs and not the ultimate in the life of a man or woman. In todays situation having a child is not important. You can always adopt a child. The situation that only boys can be Vamshoddharak's and only gorl should go away and live with boy once married she is outsode the famliy etc should go. They belong to two families once married and might live separately but take care of both families when there is need. No child or only one child boy are girl should be the slogan.

The given situation is applicable only in metros & in high class or elite class where woman have every liberty/freedom to take her own decision. & for rest of India woman is still struggling to find her place as human being in the society.

ThanQ Kavitha for the referral. I am of the view that the behavioural patterns of a few in the metros need not necessarily certify in general about the sexual liberation of women in toto....We are far far far ... away from a very ideal situation.
