Of late, people are losing temper for silly reasons. Often you feel frustrated by the way you are being treated at shopping malls, restaurants, commercial establishments, banks, railway or bus stations, etc. I think people have lost values of respecting others. We often stand at the receiving end for no mistake of ours. A sales boy at a shop refuses to attend the customers soon, especially when the customer is in a hurry. This often results in quarrel between customers and the shopkeeper. The situation is worse, especially at Banks, Railway Station ticket issuing counters, bus conductors, hospitals (sub staff), etc. Nobody has the patience or morality to speak softly. Everybody in this world have self respect and expect to be treated well. I wonder how could shopkeepers or anybody who attend customers can be harsh while communicating, selling or convincing. 'I was in a hurry to reach office a few days back and boarded a 'Volvo' bus in Bangalore, with a notion that I could reach office soon and fetch a seat for myself. The bus stopped soon after going a little further for more than 10 minutes. When enquired the bus driver says, the conductor had got down to get tickets from one of his colleagues, who was in another bus which was halted somewhere far from the city bus stand (I wonder from where and why he alighted and went out to fetch the tickets). He should have confirmed that everything is ready before leaving the bus stand. When questioned I received lethargic answer and both the driver and conductor started to howl. As I commute between my native place to the work place by train, I often get to see passengers struggling to fetch ticket at the counter. Despite having enough number of countes to issue tickets, none of them will be open and more over the staff at these counters are too harsh. They seldom speak softly when the passengers fail to give change or demand to issue tickets soon (so as to catch the train). Such attitude has become common every where. The shopkeeper has forgot Gandhiji's preaching of 'Customer is God'. this also applies to all. Don't all of you think you have been victims of such harassments at public places. What should be done? who should be blamed? Is there no authority or person who can teach all these to respect fellow human beings.

Kishore you intension for the debate is good but the sides are not proper, means it can't be debated. It would be great if you can correct it :)

And yes even I have come across similar situation, people are not humble to each other. Even thought the fault may be theirs but the shout at us....
