Yes, when I look at the kids who have joined my company, I find them having this attitude.. a cool and indifferent one. I felt that they should be responsible and every way contribute to the growth of the company positively. But then they find it cool not to do so and they have airs about the work they have performed. Well times are achanging and there is nothing we can do about it than just sit back and watch it while it lasts....

Yes, they are... 1- Be your own boss thinking encourage them 2- Corporate politics or you can say, Politics within an organization pressurise to Youth to go with their own passion & dreams. 3- I would like to replace the word used here "COOLER JOBS" with "FLEXIBLE WORK". And I am sure, 2010-2020 will be called as a decade of ENTREPRENEURS. Thanks, Santosh

Decision taken on the right time with dedication and interest, will definitely help in the long run!! Do what you like, and do best what u can!!Doing a job for others happiness will hurt you for long....but doing a job which interest you will hurt people for some time but later both will be happy!

To be paid for doing what we love! Nowdays..youth are turning thier passion and hobbies in successful profession. Now job's meaning has changed, now it is not bounded up to 8 hours jobs...we can find many examples like Very famous Photographer Tarun Chawla who has turned his passion into a sccusseful profession.

The only reason i say yes is because it is dependent on each individual. If he attains satisfaction in his off-beat job and is not bothered about the travesties of modern society, then why not ? What is cool does not depend on societies interpretation rather on an individuals taste. Being a wine taster for life can be cool. Imagine yourself excelling in this and being invited world over to sample wines and attending wine tasting event where you rub shoulders with Pg 3 hob nobs. Isnt that cool enough ? So it depends on the individual and as long as you retain your perspective on the career you have chosen for yourself and dont fall prey to the machsinations of society, you will continue to retain the cool quotient.
